This place is trying. They have a large variety of pastries, cakes, cookies and muffins. The cookies are $.80! A good price. I got the raspberry shortbread - it was fresh and very tasty. However the butterscotch, cranberry white chocolate, Romeo and Juliet, Dulce De Leche were all beyond stale and lacked flavor. There was no distinction between the butterscotch and cranberry. They also have lunch items. We ordered the clam chowder. It was near cold on the top and warm in the middle but the flavor was good. COFFEE - they brew flavored coffee and keep it on air pots. The entourage I was traveling with all are coffee snobs so we passed and got iced chia tea which was very good. In a freezer case they have frozen meals like enchiladas, lasagnes and Mac-n-cheese. Many vegetarian options too. Other reviewers mentioned the customer Service so I want to hit that. I would say it wasnt horrible but it wasnt great. Not noteworthy in either direction.

My first experience with Morning Glories Bakery in Scituate was when I ordered a Baby Shower cake. I asked if they could put fresh pink flowers all around the top. When I picked it up I was amazed at how beautiful it came out. I asked to speak to the Manager, Mr. Taborda, to tell him how thrilled I was not only with his work but that of his staff. I now visit the bakery whenever I can, mostly on the weekends for coffee and muffins. The place is impeccably clean, the staff friendly and the food delicious. I am glad that I live close enough to visit Morning Glories whenever I can. All of the cakes or pastries I order for a gathering always come from Morning Glories. Kudos to Mr. Taborda and his staff.

I had hoped for the best but this is below average. The pros, great egg salad, tuna and chicken salad. Good breads. And great prices. So why give it one star? Inconsistency, baked goods that are often stale, decorative strawberries that have mold or look like they were freeze dried, and the worst, staff that are more interested in talking on the phone than waiting on customers. And with bad attitudes. Really bad. Good music but otherwise no atmosphere. If they dont want my business, why would they want yours? Shape up Morning Glories and appreciate the business you get!

I go to this bakery almost every morning, and for every holiday and celebration! Not only is the food absolutely phenomenal, but the merchandise is always flawlessly prepared. As if the mouth-watering food was not enough to rave about, the service I receive every visit is exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and enthusiastic! Morning Glories is always a warm place full of kind people, and scrumptious food! I would recommend anyone to Morning Glories, best bakery around!

This place is awful. Go to French Memories in Cohasset if you want a good bakery. The owner of Morning Glories needs to wake up, and realize that he cant have crappy, stale food, served by the most unfriendly people he can find. I swear, these people are given absolutely no training in customer service.

This used to be an awesome bakery. Now I would nott go there if paid. So rude. The food does not make up for the lack of customer service. When I told the owner I was cancelling an order because the phone person was "rude and sarcastic", he said fine and hung up.

Tastes day old and the pizza was dry, old, and cold. Broke a bracket off my daughters braces. No banana strawberry smoothie as advertised on the door. The young lady at the counter didnt seem to know much.

We just moved to the area and love coming here on Saturday mornings. The bagel sandwiches are delicious as is the coffee cake and coffee. Cant wait to try everything else! Great little local joint.

No barista, just an espresso machine. Coffee tastes old, as if it was made hours (days?) ago. If you want good coffee in Scituate, go to Lucky Finn.

The blueberry muffin was flavorless and the coffee was just supposed to be flavored but tasted like regular. Disappointing.

Local favorite. Great creative bakery. Sandwiches reasonably priced, unlike a couple others in area.

On the sign it says bakery so stop selling pizza and hamburgers and stick to selling pastries.
