My husband picked up a couple of salads on his way home from work. His was fine; mine was apparently someone elses leftover lunch--it was stale and soggy and was missing some of the ingredients. I called the manager, Jennifer, and she said I could come in for a free salad. I told her I would rather not go to her restaurant again. She claimed she would mail me some gift certificates I could use in another Panera. A week later I hadnt received anything, so I called back, and again I was promised some gift certificates in the mail. That was a few months ago and never received anything. I contacted the main office, and still nothing, not even an apology. My husband and I had been eating at different Paneras about once a week before this, but Im pretty turned off by them and dont intend to go back.

This Panera location is my favorite. The staff is super friendly, the food is consistent in taste and portions, and the there is always enough clean seating. The drive through is fast and has always got my order correct. There is another Panera half the distance from where I work, but going to Newburyport is worth the effort. The only area of improvement I see is the parking lot could be larger and flow better.

great customer service by the woman behind the food counter (Sarah i believe was her name...) horrible customer service by the manager (Teresa) very sarcastic and condescending attitude towards both myself and the employees when i approached her regarding a mistake with my meal...my interaction with her alone will prevent me from returning. soup was amazing once i got the correct one
