Ummm ... No, thank you. Went here two weekends in a row because I bought a Groupon for two lunches and forgot about it and then they were closing for the season in two weeks. Week One: My nine-year old Little Girl had the Kids hamburger with fries and a pickle. She loved it. I had the Cape Cod Reuben, which was, essentially, a bland-tasting heart attack that begged for spice and flavor. Week Two: My Little Girl had the Kids hamburger with fries. No pickle because they were out and it was their last day of the season. Im cool with that. My Daughter enjoyed her burger again. I had the fish tacos with broiled fish. It was a remarkably pale lunch, that, like its predecessor, was in desperate need of flavor. Service was spotty both weeks; the first week, the waitress got annoyed at the table next to me when, after she read the desserts they had available, one patron asked, "is there any of your bread pudding left?" The waitress made it clear that, since she had not named it as a dessert, that it was not available. #fun The following week, she was just slow. I appreciated her remembering my Daughter and being nicer in general, but still, a little on the "Im not in any hurry so youre not going to be either" side. They closed for the season and will reopen on April 1. No fooling.

lasagnaaaaa ... love it here:) wish they had a more exciting "nightlife"... i think trivia or football patry.. or somkind of theme once a week would maybe get more ppl in that bar area. My boyfriend and I like to go here and sit in the bar, but by like 8pm we seem to be the only ones left in there... and leave because its akward to sit and have a beer in an empty bar. lol ... sandwich/sagamore is in DESPERATE need of some more local place to go out and do things... trivia, game nights... etc are always ALWAYS fun :)

I wish I could give this place zero stars. How can an "Italian" restaurant have such completely inedible red sauce? We have tried this restaurant a few times before it closed, and vowed never to return, but since it reopened recently under new owners we decided to give it another shot. Wish we hadnt, as they kept all the same recipes. Even the Olive Garden is head and shoulders above this place, but if you want really good Italian on the Cape, try Amaris. Sagamore Inn is going back on the "NEVER AGAIN" list.

Enjoyed our dinners and the staff was friendly and attentive, however, wait staff were leaning on our booth backs (both sides) almost the entire time carrying on loud conversations. One waitress decided to share a video on her phone at a loud volume right next to us. Very distracting, unprofessional and really detracted from our dining experience. I wont rush back there the next time we are on the cape. Try "Bobby Byrnes Pub" or "Fathers" - both in Sandwich - These were both outstanding in every respect!

Fodors Review: Old Cape Cod traditions with an Italian twist can be found at this local favorite. Pressed-tin walls and ceilings, fans, old wooden booths and tables, lace curtains, and white linen add up to a dining room so casual you almost overlook its elegance. The seafood platter is a knockout, and the chicken potpie and prime rib are substantial. Luncheon specials attract regulars from all over town, and the service is friendly. A cozy, handsome old bar is under the same roof.

Breakfast on a Sunday morning: surprising that it wasnt crowded. Was seated right away for a party of 4. Breakfast menu wasnt large but offered just enough items. Eggs benedict was delicious. Hash looked delicious and my dad said it was good. But i tasted my sons pancakes and i instantly experienced regret that i didnt get the pancakes. They were out of this world! Highly recommend for breakfast.

Excellent! Great, friendly, service. The lobster salad roll is the best; not loaded with a bunch of "stuff." Antipasto is very good and a small is enough for a meal. Drinks are generous. A great place for lunch as well as dinner. I havent been there for breakfast yet as it is a bit of a drive, but from what I hear, that is very good as well.

Gross typical tourist place. Cape cod is so busy people can serve just about anything and charge $20 for it. Meatballs were cold in the middle served on an oversized hot dog roll and the fish and chips seemed like it was bought up the street at stop and shop.

Good Italian food but just okay seafood! Need to find a good recipe for tartar sauce. Theirs is nasty sweet! Ruins the taste of the fish or clams! Very nice and friendly staff!

This place, over the decades has never let us down. The food is always dependably good. They have a good selection of choices and its an especially good place to bring children.

Excellent meal of mussels in a wonderful wine, garlic and butter sauce. My husband had the pot roast. We topped it off with blueberry pie. The waitress staff was excellent.

Good quality food and friendly wait staff, but prices are on the high side. Only complaint is that the lasagna is a really small serving compared to other entrees.

The food was okay. The red sauce wasnt what Im used to, but I wasnt expecting much from red sauce from Massachusetts anyway. The desserts were amazing!

You cant go wrong with this family-friendly favorite. Be prepared for loud kids, huge plates of pasta and the best manhattan on the upper cape.

Liked the food but found the service to be uninterested in the guests and the pricing aimed at tourists, not locals.
