This was by far the worst experience my boyfriend and I have ever had!!! This was my first time to ptown and I enjoyed every moment expect the dinner I had my last night there. My boyfriend and I were very impressed by the menu and really wanted to try it out. When I called, the hostess told me that they were all booked. An hour after I called my boyfriend and I decided to walk in and check to see if we could get a table or sit by the bar. Long story short the hostess was able to squeeze us in. Great!! Or so we thought, the server which was about 65 years old took 20 mins just to bring us bread and water. Then another 30 mins to get our order down. I had to keep chasing her down to for just about everything. It was constant aggression throughout the night. I understand it was busy but Ive worked in much busier restaurants and this was totally unacceptable service. Either this 65 year old lady needs to retire or she needs to come down to Providence,Rhode Island and see how things get done.

After seeing the other review, I had to interject.....Front Street is our favorite restaurant on Cape Cod...we look forward to it re-opening this spring for the season and will make the thirty mile trip several times. The food is excellent, the atmosphere eclectic....a real mixed bag....the staff is friendly and competent and for the most part has been there for years.....definitely not overpriced

They have hands-down the best lamb chops anywhere. My other favorites are the soft-shell crab with lemon butter caper sauce as well as the stuffed zucchini blossoms. If you order off of the Italian menu I strongly suggest the eggplant involtini. Holly is our favorite server. Ask to be seated in her section! Her presence is always present without being suffocating. A true service professional!

You have to eat here if youre going to be anywhere near p-town. This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. The drinks are good. The food is beyond words good (Im particularly fond of their duck) and the service is just right - not intrusive, but there when you need them. Make reservations well ahead of time during high session. But go!

This is my favorite restaurant in the world. Everything is prepared with thought and care and part if the menu changes every two weeks to utilize the freshest seasonal ingredients. The downstairs atmosphere is intimate and romantic and funky. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I love this restaurant and come here every chance we get.

We walked in without a reservation but we were lucky enough to be seated at the wonderful bar. The waitress was quite attentive and the meal was resplendent. I can vouch for the rack of lamb being delicious, but would suggest trusting your server to guide you! The environment is romantic and quant. Enjoy your meal!

Absolutely horrendous. First, the drinks were small and weak. Second, my pasta dish tasted like Ramon Noodles. Third, the portions were small. Fourth, the waiter was anything but warm. He had ZERO personality. Fifth, it was quite expensive. Needless to say, we will NOT return.

We come from NYC and this is as good as one of the one the best places we have eaten at in NYC - Service the entire staff was extremely friendly and efficient - Cant wait to come back to Ptown and eat here again - Thanks for the terrific experience.

Beef Wellington was good meat and cooked well, but it wasnt really a Wellington. The service was amazing though. My wife didnt even complain, the waitress just saw that she was disappointed with her meal and insisted on bringing something else.
