Ok, Now I evaluate restaurants for a living and my main gripe over the years is receiving foods that taste only of grease. Not much to my surprise when the food was placed in front of us all I could smell is grease. I tried the Veal Parmesan and could not eat more than a few bites the grease taste was overwhelming. I tried some of my guests steak fries. Could only eat half a bite even covered in ketchup. My fingers were soaked in grease and the flavor of the fries were absolutely horrible and way over salted. To top it off the waitress never came back to see if everything was alright. The prices are very steep. No three strikes...never going back...TIP: chefs, managers, and owners! Taste your food and change the grease more often! The food is not acceptable when all you can taste is grease!

A group of us (old college friends) usually get together a few times a year for a late lunch at Mezza Luna. We have never been disappointed. The food is good, service excellent and the ambience is great. They have a new bartender who is fantastic. His name is Roland. Say hello to him. Our waitress was always smiling and was helpful in picking out menu items. Cape Cod is lucky to have this place. Compared to other places and comparing on an apple to apple manner the prices are very fair. We will continue to go here because we havent found anything better. Any of the morons who gave less than excellent reviews do not know what they are talking about. I suggest that they go back to eating their Chef Boyardee in a can.

The Mezza Luna is awesome. The prices might seem expensive but when you consider that you get a soup or salad and bread and a gigantic portion of food, you will quickly realize that it is all worth it. The sauce is awesome - I always ask for a side dish of sauce to dip my bread ... mmmmm ... I am already looking forward to my next trip there. The prime rib is a signature dish - its seriously good and it comes with so much food!!! You should make sure you dont eat all day so that you can truly enjoy the entire meal. If you live on the Cape or are visiting, make a trip to the Mezza Luna part of your priorities and eat well.

Prime rib was cooked properly. I like it cooked rare. For my wife lamb chops cooked to her linking. Brother in law*s lobster ravioli was very good. Mother in law*s salmon not over cooked. Father in law*s surf and do turf finished. This was Mother*s Day 2016 and even though it was busy both service and food was very good. My only critique is located asked for Scotch and water and the waitress did not Ask me which Scotch I would prefer. Some might say petty but a Scotch drinker has his favorites.

We wanted a leisurely dining experience, our waitress seemed annoyed we wanted a couple of minutes to talk and scan the menu. She took our dinner choices and left without a word, never refilled our water glasses or offered more bread. We enjoyed our very large meals, delicious! Our experience would have been complete if our server were more interested in serving us. We still gave her a better than 20% tip figuring she was having a bad day!

I just dont get it. Ive tried this place several times. I HATE their tomato sauce, its disgusting, different than any other place Ive tried. Ive also tried Chicken Picatta (18.95 ouch!) it was loaded with butter, way too much butter, kinda like a lemony butter sauce. Minestrone Soup, the worst Ive ever tasted. Paisano Platter, tomato sauce reminded me of SpaghettiOs sauce. Did I mention this place is EXPENSIVE?!!

Anyone who posts a poor review of this place is out of their mind. Everything about Mezza Luna is phenomenal. Being from NYC and having eaten a plethora of Italian cuisine, Id consider myself somewhat of a conneseur, and this place wad THE GOODS. The bread, sauces, fresh cheese, cocktails and even delicious desserts did not fail to impress. Two thumbs up.

Love the food here. Ive tried a lot of different things on the menu and theyre all great. Its always packed which creates a nice atmosphere. Went for lunch also a couple of times and its a great deal and you can actually sit down and enjoy yourself and still be out in 30 minutes. You get a great meal and walk out full for $10. You cant beat that.

Excellent Italian food, the REAL DEAL, The desserts are out of this world, the bartender Rick Musiol is always a pleasure and I make it a point to stop in and have a couple of drinks. He always seems to have some words of wisdom and goes out of his way to help. You have a good place there and I will continue to frequent your establishment.

Great atmosphere since they remodeled. They have one of the best prime ribs that I have ever tried, which you can get on Saturdays and I believe also on Wednesdays. The service used to be mediocre but theyve definitely turned everything around since the remodel after the fire.

Been there twice there will not be a "Third Times A Charm" waited almost an hour for 3 meals the first time and the place was empty. Second time we sent our calamari back twice. It was like eating the bottom of my sneaker. Stay away. Go to the lobster trap for good food

This restaurant is requiring their servers to pay for order mistakes. For example, if a customers order is sent to the kitchen and a mistake is made, the server has to pay for the dish...it can cost them as much as $40. This is illegal. The food is good though.

I love this place. Been coming here for years and Ive never had a bad meal. I would recommend the veal parm or the prime rib. The seafood is also super fresh. Any time I head to the Cape I stop here before heading over the bridges.

Food was ok, but had issues sauce for veal was overpowered with lemon and was swimming in fat and gloopy from flour, sauce for mussels was way too thick too, shrimp scampi was swimming in fat

Its only hard to decide what to eat on any night that isnt Prime Rib Special night; then I usually fall back on the veal parm. They have the best creme Brule ever. A great family spot.

Never had the prime rib here but people rave about it. They also rave about the Italian food here? It is hands down the worst Italian food Ive ever had, just dont understand.

Unquestionably the best Italian restaurant on all of Cape Cod. The worst meal Ive ever had here (and Ive been dining here for more than 40 years) was a 9 out of 10.

I personally did not enjoy this restaurant. The service was adequate however I did not like the food too much. I felt that it was not very authentic Italian food.

Went there for fathers day and the food was only ok. I got the prime rib, that was good. The fish and chips were tasteless, and the service was only ok.
