This restaurant is located in the Mashpee Commons, where lots of stores, eateries, and even a movie theater resides. It is an outdoor mall, so not super convenient on a rainy day or snowy day, but it is very well organized and very pretty looking. The Italian restaurant, Siena, is located right next to the movie theater. The inside was nice size, with lots of table and booth seating. They also have a full bar on the other side, with more seating around it. We went to a movie beforehand, and it is an easy walk from the theater. It only takes a minute, which is super convenient! It was not crowded when we got there, but it did bit busier while we were there. We started off our dinner with some drinks. We ordered White Sangria, which is house-made and I heard is popular. We also ordered their special drink of the day, Poinsettia Sparkler. They were both good, the sangria was a pretty good size, refreshing and fruity. We had Truffle Fries, Harvest Salad, Veal Piccata, Chicken Parmigiana, Shrimp & Spaghetti, and Cioppino. They were all tasty, not the best Ive had, but they were nice. The truffle fries were really nice and addicting. Their food are a bit pricey, but then again, the amount you receive are pretty good. Our server was friendly and nice, polite and warm. We had a very nice dinner here. And if you ate too much, you can always walk around the mall after the meal and burn off some of the calories. Went yesterday for Mothers Day lunch. They sat us in the back corner by the bathrooms which I noticed was very dirty. The carpets are all stained, booth seats were covered in crumbs. You couldnt event get into the inside seats without pulling out the first chair into the dining area. We ordered mussels and a community bowl of pasta - which btw the pasta was about $16 and the same size as a one person portion. They were also out of mussels so we ordered shrimp scampi appetizer. Which was horrible. No flavor. I can seriously make it better. The pesto pasta also had rocks in it, we had the organic penne with pesto. I think someone didnt wash the basil as well as forgot to add any salt or pepper. My father also asked for butter when the bread arrived and even after our appetizer arrived, still no butter. We had to ask again. Then when it came time to pay the bill, we waited forever for our waitress to come back. I think she forgot about us tucked in the corner. I would say she was very pleasant and nice to deal with but for the money we paid it is not worth going there, it needs a clean up and something happened to their cooks. They used to have good food....

we went to Sienna today with our 2 kids. The service was extremely slow and the salads we ordered were horrible. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was not grilled, it seemed like it was thrown in the microwave and boiled. It was so disgusting that I thought I was going to gag after eating it. My husband had ordered a grilled chicken ceaser and he said his was really distasteful also. My boys had penne with tomato sauce and even that didnt taste great. On top of that the service was very slow. We will never go back there again.

We were originally considering another close-by restaurant however another member of the group thought the menu for that establishment seemed strange. We walked around the corner to Siena. Outside dining was the deciding factor....huge mistake...should have checked reviews first. Food was mediocre at best and prices are obscene. I understand this is the Cape, but theres no way the cost vs quality can be justified. I had the short rib ravioli. Pasta was bad. The cut of short rib that comes with pasta was low quality meat. I loved the atmosphere inside. The inside is huge. We had calamari as an appetizer. Our meals were awful though. I ordered the veal saltimbocca and the pasta came out very watery and the asparagus was hard and crunchy. My girlfriends plate was the same. We were both highly disappointed for the money spent. Both our meals did not come with sauce, which I thought was weird. Not worth the money. $80 total.

It says describe my experience. Well in short awful. The meats low low grade (frozen) as others have confirmed. All at a high end price point. The drinks are all high fructose corn syrup Think of Dunkin Donuts But just with a bigger price tag. O also dont be surprised if you get sick from there food.

Outstanding gluten free options including GF pasta on request. Inventive, fresh menu options, as well as reliable favorites. Delicious filet mignon, and the root vegetable hash is superb. If you want super fast service, eat at McDonalds. If you want a sophisticated dining experience, Siena delivers.
