Fiance and I had dinner here last night for our dating anniversary. Pros: Dessert was tasty, quiet environment for conversation was nice. Cons: neither of us were particularly pleased with our meals and were unpleasantly surprised by the fact that this place is cash only, which meant we were unable to use an amex gift card Id expected to use as payment. Now, a particularly nice restaurant can get away with being cash only. This place, however, only really *seems* fancy (which just means its pricey and dimly lit). The pre-dinner bread came cold with cold butter and tasted no more special than grocery store italian (no olive oil dip?), my fiances ravioli side was still somewhat frozen in the middle, his shrimp meal consisted of five shrimp covered in cheese, and my chicken in white wine, while nicely cooked, tasted like it was covered in nothing but lemon. Seriously, I enjoy me some lemon, but this was just...lemon. I just put some garlic, butter, and parm cheese on my leftovers at home to make it more palatable. As said, the desserts were delicious and the red sauce on the ravioli was fantastic, but that just made me regret what I ordered, and being cash only seems entirely unnecessary and unwarranted. It wasnt enough to spoil our entire evening but it certainly left us wishing wed just gone to Bertuccis instead.

Not as great as it once was, but still recommended and worth the hassle for parking. There are about 10 spots on the lot, 2 of which are handicapped. If youre going, get there early to find a space. Youll likely end up on someones lawn on the adjacent street. Had drinks at the bar in red hot glasses. Ice melted in less than 2 minutes. Not a great start to the night when Im sending a drink back, but Ive been here enough to know that it isnt a problem. Had lamb chops, medium rare. Decent price, cooked as close to perfect as they could have been. The complaints unleashed when our server dropped food onto my girlfriend while clearing plates. Nothing more than crumbs, but it was insulting when she noticed what she had done and proceeded to laugh about it instead of apologizing and offering a napkin or any way to assist. The food is still very good, and theyre as busy as theyve ever been. Seeing people in jean shorts and sandals says to me that the magic is gone. The glory of La Scala isnt ever going to come back.

This is my daughters I didnt want to create an account but felt I had to let others know I have ate here with my mom and my husband in the past but this is a night I will remember me and my husband are a biracial couple and I cant believe how awkward and uncomfortable they made him feel the waitress and customers it was a mostly white crowd we were dressed well and trying to enjoy ourselves but it was impossible I dont even want to go into detail just note if you are of a darker complexion you should not go here they have darker skinned waitstaff SOME but the waitress I had tonight and her friend were not and they were indirectly rude and treated us like our money is not green and our blood is not red !!!!!never again my stomach is turning having to write this review im so embarrassed for them good luck lascala

Excellent Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely - its dark and cozy, not too big or open so good for quiet conversation. There is a nice separated bar area with a kind of Tuscan feel to the design and decor ( I think this was a more recent addition to the building). Food is always great, but I do find a few dishes heavy (chicked creation) and priced well for the portions especially for lunch. Just know that they do not accept credit cards. They do have an ATM there to get cash. Staff is always wonderful. We also hosted an engagement party there on a Sunday and they did a great job on everything.

La Scala Restaurant has a great food . Fresh , hot , delicious food. The customer service is the best , I asked few options and I was satisfied with the options. Location is nice , 1 minute off highway . I recommend La Scala Restaurant for all my family members and friends.

I love this place it is by far my favorite restaurant not all the dishes are good. but they definitely make up for it in the price and ambiance and wonderful service. Reminds me of a low class olive garden that not being an insult just marvelous truly

Clean, courteous and professional. Servers take food allergies seriously, and pay close attention to their guests with dietary needs. I have been here many times and they have always maintained the same high level of service.

Been coming to either here or Mother Annas for 60 years now. Never disappoints us, and were coming from a good distance to come here and well worth the trip. Gotta take home a jar of sauce and salad dressing

Great service unbeatable price for the quality of the food. Felt very comfortable even dining alone and I would def recommend to friends. The lobster bisque was phenominal and rich. I will be back again!

Good food overall and pleasant staff. But it was a HUGE turnoff (to me) that they dont take credit cards! Its 2015! I never have cash on me. They have an ATM on-site.
