Went there as a group of three . Started with a drink , took 15 minutes but it was good . Didnt bother me , soup was included in the buffet . Came out fresh and yummy . Each of us ate a plate and a half , the food was good , not up to my boyfriends standards , but we all enjoyed our meal . Our lovely waiter consistantly checked in and was polite and smiling and was all around great customer service . Till i realized i left my debit card at home and my boyfriend didnt have much left , we had just enough on us to pay for the meal , and our friend tipped her for all of us . Well , after i left before the boys , they come out being followed . Apparently getting harrased . Because one left a tip and the other didnt ! Wanted his license and said she would have him arrested for not tipping! Seemed like it happened often the way her husband came out and said nothing to us just pulled her back inside and waved his hand to tell us to go . She was screaming at my boyfriend that now she has to pay her waiter because now she thinks she did a bad job and you should have explained to me that you didnt have money on you . WHEN should someone ever have to explain their life to a waiter because we all didnt personally leave a tip...for a buffet . We paid 15 dollars each , and 7 for the drink plus whatever his friend got . His friend left a good tip . Point of this review , the waiter was wonderful . And she refused the 2 dollars cash i had in my purse . But if you go , make sure you tip . Or they will threaten to call the cops .

Great Buffet Food for Groups with Kids! I usually try to stay away from buffets, but with a medium group of families and a half dozen hungry kids ages 8 and under-- nobody was waiting for food! The buffet had a good selection of yummy foods including some of the best Rangoon Ive had-- the best in RI by a long shot. I was a little concerned at first because there was not a large amount of each food choice on the buffet, but the staff was quick to re-fill items as they were eaten-- so the food was fresh and hot at all times. The buffet is also shaped like a ship which was really fun for the kids. I definitely look forward to going back.

This place takes advantage of people I just ordered my food from them which normally would coast me about $25 but because its new years they wont do combination plates so I had to pay for every item individual so the order came out to $50 and it took them about an hour and a half to get here and im licated about 4miles fron them and to make things worst they forgot half of my order after I made sure to repeat myself twice about what I wanted. Its now been another hour and a half and they are still not here with the rest of my order. This place sucks big time will never order feon them again.

Absolutely disgusted with the food. I paid over 30$ for soggy chicken fingers that had a weird taste , boneless spare ribs with no flavor and rice that smells like a fire pit. Not only was the food completely in satisfying I called back to tell them about it and she asked if i want to place another order. Never again I repeat never again will I ever buy or suggest to anyone. Especially working at a hotel I will not give anyone there menus because of the service they provide !

The place is cool and the staff is friendly. Their delivery has a $15 dollar minimum and isnt terribly good. Going into the place and sitting down to eat is far better then the takeout. Nothing was terrible bad but it wasnt anything special for the prices they ask. Luckily theyre pretty quick. Pros: - Ample seating and parking - Low wait times - Buffet Cons: - Minimum order total of $15 - Short delivery range - Hit or miss delivery food

This is the best Chinese food Ive had in Rhode Island. Its inexpensive, and they give you generous portions, I almost always take home a doggie-bag. The Chinese is amazing as is the sushi. I live in Providence and still go here the most, its worth it. I would defiantly recommend Rangoon if you want really good Chinese or if you dont want to pay too much.

Great place to eat or take out. Very consistent and always tasty. Food is always fresh, place is always clean, people are great. If you are in the area defiantly try it if you havent. Friday and Saturday they have a buffet that is great and constantly being refilled with fresh food.

My sister and I were served some of tastiest cooking Ive had. It had been some time since Ive had been here. Too bad because I had forgotten the quality Ive missed . Seems in my absence theyve renovated the dining room. This new decor enhanced the experience.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in RI. Not surprisingly, their crab rangoons are excellent, but so arent their meat and vegetable dishes. They have a large menu too. Ive eaten there dozens of times and never had a disappointing meal.
