I went with a group of my friends and 2 of us got sushi and 2 got hibachi. The hibachi came out first and looked unappetizing. My friends who were eating it claimed that it was cold and seemed like it was just heated up. When we confronted the waiter about it he brought the manager out to talk to us who was VERY rude and basically was yelling at us about getting her money for the food that was made. She told my friend she was allowed to exchange the food for something else but could not take the food back completely with a refund. So unwillingly they ordered sushi because the manager was demanding that they order something else and was yelling all different types at them while they were already reading the menu themselves. Also, when she was making us separate checks she was muttering "oh my god" and "so complicated and ridiculous" to us as we were telling her how we wanted the check split up. I was shocked because that should not be how you treat your customers. She was condescending and rude and I felt like she did not follow the policy that the customer is always right and she also went about solving the problem the completely wrong way. I felt like just because we complained about the food, she completely over reacted and blew up at us. I would not recommend going here since there is very poor service.

A very, very nice asiatic restaurant, quite unexpectedly in the middle of Stow. In short, within a 20 minute radius, there are NO other asian restaurants that offer as varied, and as consistently decent a menu. Being from San Francisco (the West Coasts admitted "Capital of Asian Cuisine"), I confess to having an Asian-Food fetish as well as fairly high standards. This is why I give Red Ginger 4 stars: my brother, living in Stow, has taken me to dozens of other Asian restaurants, and theyve ranged from moderately to terribly disappointing. Red Ginger is different. Now, this is not to say that you cant order perfectly bland and useless food at Red Ginger. You can. Try not to! Their list of specialities are really quite good. Be adventuresome! Anyway, good luck. The prices are right, the owners and help are friendly, and the bar makes excellent mixed drinks.

Pre-cooked meat shipped to them in a big drum gets re-heated and then ladled into a pool of over-sweet sauce with a viscosity slightly less than that of corn syrup. Heres an excerpt from one of the *positive* reviews: "This is not to say that you cant order perfectly bland and useless food at Red Ginger. You can. Try not to!" Thats great. "The menu is seeded with dishes that turn out to be inedible garbage. Try to avoid ordering any! Theyre like booby-traps; its just part of the fun!"

On the rare occasion when they get your order right, theyre pretty good, but they have a habit of screwing it up and then arguing with you about it. I can accept mistakes, but I cant accept a manager arguing with me about how the food is fine when its not what I ordered. This area has no shortages of other places to go to, I suggest doing that.

My husband and I like this restaurant very much. We especially like eating at the bar, where the seats are quite comfortable. It is never crowded or noisy, and the same folks are there time and again. It is the perfect place to watch a sports event! The food is tasty and reasonable. The staff are (mostly) quite friendly!

Got a chicken and shrimp hibachi and it came out relatively fast. The chicken seemed fake and the vegetables were the only thing hot. The Manager wasnt really flexible and didnt offer us our credit back. She was pretty rude and not that accommodating to her customers.

I grew up on Boston sushi and Chinese food. Red Ginger is the closest thing youll find to "Big City" - quality Chinese and Japanese food out in metro-west. I love that place.
