Terrible management by "Josh" !!! Extremely unprofessional! Support staff waiting on us was fantastic! Hostess were rude as well, but I do believe they were acting the way they were on the managements request. Made reservations for a small surprise for a friends bridal shower, 10 -15 people. I asked if we could be seated as this was a surprise for her and I just wanted to put balloons on her chair. I was told no, not until everyone was there. I would usually understand why, but I tried to explain to him what we were doing for a friend. He looked at me and said, we dont do surprises on Saturdays. This man, I soon find out is the Manager "Josh", who was extremely rude. While waiting at the bar he then came over to us and grabbed the small cup cakes that were in front of a friend and snapped at us that we are not allowed to bring outside food in there. He said they would be in the fridge and can get them when we leave. BTW, they dont offer dessert on their menu there... He came over to me about 15-20 minutes after our reservation time and said that if our friends werent there soon we would no longer have a reservation (remember, we asked to sit to set up for a surprise, the bride was coming in 5 minutes). He said if they werent there we wouldnt have a seat. Another friend who was bringing the bride to be in came with a tiny personal sized sugar free apple pie (our bride is a diabetic), she didnt hear "the rule". She went up to our waitress and asked her, since they dont have anything for a diabetic, could she possibly just bring this out as a small surprise for the bride. Which she smiled and said absolutely. We went outside with the bride and a few others that were smoking, at that time, "Josh" came out, and started yelling at me in front of other guests and my friends about how he told me there was no outside food allowed. Obviously ruining the surprise for our bride, and ruining the happy moment. There was no professionalism on his end the entire night. After that we went back in to finish up and pay the bill. "Josh" walked behind me and I asked him his name and who his manager is. He said his name and said that he is the manager, I asked who is higher up than him and he said no one. He then came around to the front of our table and started pointing his finger at me and started yelling about how we only went in there to pick a fight. This is in front of the entire hibachi restaurant full of people. I then obviously got upset. This was by far the worst that any of my friends and I have ever been treated. Support staff kept coming up to us and apologizing for his personality. Saying that most of their bad reviews online are due to his poor attitude and how he treats everyone. This is sad how this guy can still be working there. After paying the bill, my friend who brought the cupcakes went to go get them from the front ("Josh" said they would not bring them to us, we had to get them when we walked out the door), the hostess asked her if she was leaving and she said yes, the hostess then replied that my friend needs to be escorted out once she gets them. I am appalled by this place and their behavior. This is a shame because we have all loved this place in the past. But because of this, we will not go back.

I have been in town for less than 3 weeks now. Initial visit I received great service and the food was excellent. However before being seated we were greeted by a host who also happens to be the manager. He has very poor customer skills and was rather rude at a simple request to move from the front area to the hibachi section in the back. Needless to say I let it pass thinking "this guy is having a bad day". Needless to say, a group of us came back a week later and we were treated with such disrespect just because there was a misunderstanding and our original request was that our party of 12 all sat together. We were told that its not possible, "you people are rude, where you come from?" and other offensive remarks that should never be said to a paying customer. I demanded to speak to a manager, was told that he WAS THE manager and apparently the supreme leader In that establishment. There was no reasoning with him and he refused to interact with me as a human being. He is down right RUDE and has no people skills to be in a management position. ################################# The food is Great by watch out for the SHORT, ANGRY person at the front desk. He WILL ruin you evening :-)

I have been to a few hibachi steak houses and most are similar. This is no exception but set itself apart with exceptional service and just a little bit more fun than most. The place sits on a side street near 495 in Franklin kind of buried in the back of an industrial park and is quite large looking from the outside but inside is actually smaller and more quaint. Pretty cool looking inside with a waterfall greeting you at the door and some cool water light wall designs etc. The back part of the place is the hibachi and we were seated promptly. The menu is the same as any other place, sushi, steak, chicken, seafood etc. This place actually has a childrens menu which is much different than most. The staff is quick and very friendly and on top of things unlike most hibachi steak houses. The performance is great and the cook made it extra special, the usual tricks and funny gags. Food is excellent and everything hit the spot. Plus they had ice cream for the kids and the price was actually slightly cheaper than most other hibachis. I would highly recommend this place for the good time, service and food and it is conveniently located close to everything.

Went there tonight with my boyfriend and first off as soon as we walked in we felt the bitter cold of the blasting ac. Next I ordered clear veggie soup to warm up from the cold ac, and found a unwelcomed guest, a mosquito. To my dismay I expressed my displeasure to the waitress and she was not very appolagetic though, she did offer me a new one and compt it. For our entre we ordered sweet potato roll, spicy tuna roll, yellow tail roll, sweetheart roll. Both the spicy tuna roll and the sweetheart roll contained too much mayo. The yellow tail roll tasted extremely fishy. In the sweet potato roll, it did not contain enough tempura for my liking. We eat sushi very often and overall we considered it less than our expectations for average sushi. Considering what the food was like, the atmosphere was suprisingly cool and colorful, but its doubtful we will ever return.

The manager was completely disrespectful immediately upon arrival. He was rude and clearly has no idea how to work in the service industry. After waiting over an hour to be seated while we purchased drinks from the bar, he refused to seat us because he "heard somebody curse". I tried to be reasonable and apologozed if that happened, but we still were interested in eating food. He said, "No, go somewhere else and never come back." I have never been treated so poorly in my life at any restaurant. Im disgusted that this man works here and is actually responsible for managing the floor. He literally said, "Im not sure where you people come from" it just makes me sick. I will never come here again and Im extremely disappointed because the atmosphere was quite nice but they hired the wrong people. Pease do not give this place your business.
