I was very pleased with the food & Hibachi Cook was great. The server was floating around & I always had to Ask for a refill but she always asked the other people sitting at same grill if they needed anything but not me. Also the female manager was rude & horrible! I almost walked out b/c they dont seat parties of 1 at the Hibachi grill. I was like "WHAT?" I was asked to wait at the bar & had to wait 15 minutes until another group of people came in for the hibachi. They didnt offer any discount for my inconvenience. I will be calling the owner because this was totally unacceptable. Ive eaten at hundreds of Hibachi/Sushi Grills & "Never" had this happen. I would return to this restaurant because the food & chef were great. The manager needs to get a reality check & realize there are Party of 1 that enjoy Hibachi Grill Entertainment. The California Rolls for appetizer were good also. My advice is make sure you dont go solo or you might have to wait. It takes about 1-2 hours for dinner so dont plan to run in & eat then leave.

Very entertaining for family, business meetings or even dates if you are sitting Hibachi side. Drinks are always made to perfection and a little stiff. Some of the staff speak broken english so listen carefully or ask to be repeated to or shown on the menu. Food is amazing, aromas are intoxicating while being prepared to your liking right in front of a small captive audience. Dont be scared to speak up and ask for more seasoning or garlic which is always gladly added to whatever dish or combo you choose. The chef will see how good a catch you can be while testing his accurate cooking spatulas. Be prepared to open wide and close your eyes. Oh and if Saki is being shared by the chef at your hibachi, open wide and enjoy the ride. They usually will give you as much as you can handle. Loved Ichiban and will continue to patronize for years to come. What a gem of an establishment.

My girlfriend and I stopped by around 12:30 on a Sunday, we were the only ones in the restaurant which kind of unnerved me. Ive become a bit of a sushi "enthusiast" over the last 2 yrs, Ive tried most places in NH and a few elsewhere. To my surprise, Ichiban was fantastic! I ordered the best Philadelphia roll (smoked salmon + cream cheese) of my life. I also tried the Spicy Tuna roll which was only bested by one other place. Lastly, I tried a piece of nigiri (raw tuna over sushi rice, theres appeared to be mid-high grade ahi) which was also very tasty. I posted a picture of my order, all of which only cost 14$, very well priced. My girlfriend ordered a Dynamite roll (15$) which was about the portion of two regular rolls, also fantastic. We walked out with very full bellies for 30$ very pleased, will definitely make this our new regular sushi spot.

Great food if you get it. We had 6pm dinner reservations with 3 kids. Having kids good idea to make reservations so you dont have the keep them sitting around too long. Got seated at 6:05 as well as the table next to us. We had drinks, and watched the table next to us have thier dinner. Table next to us finished dinner, had dessert, and recieved bill, our chef came to table it was now 7:30. Dinner was good we all ordered hibachi except my wife. She ordered off the menu, They forgot! Brought her food with the bill! Also forgot kids refills for drinks. This was the 1st time I ever left a tip less than 20%. Back to Moritomo Japanese Restaurant in Concord for me!

My boyfriend and I waited 40 minutes for 2 simple appetizers. The worst service we have ever encountered. We are frequent customers when we go for dining in, but we will never go here again because of the poor service at the bar. I dont recommend anyone to go to the bar side of this restaurant. We were starving and gladly gave our money to Beefside next door because they clearly have their sh** together. Beefside is now our spot of choice because of this single experience. Ichiban just lost two customers who probably spend $100 a week at their restaurant. Please train your staff.

The absolutely best Japanese restaurant I have ever eaten at. Exceptional and attentive waitpersons. Wonderful and serene decor. Gorgeous presentation ranging from dish shapes to ice cubes that change colors in your glass of fish. Superb steak. Both times I had the Sumo Steak and it was served in a rich broth with various vegetables. The steak was so tender. So flavorsome. Every appetizer that we have tried was a notch up on any other place we have ever been. The perfect evening out. Concord NH is host to this fantastic place.

My husband and I were frequenting the bar until the latest experience with the bartender. We had to deal with her eye rolling, muttering when guests ( including ourselves) placed an order that irritated her, and acted completely unprofessional during our visit. The "tipping" point seems to be when you ask her for the happy hour menu - even the party of five sitting next to us remarked throughout their dining experience about how rude she was. We will wait to go back when they replace her.

Great sushi. I cant say I really know good sushi, but I did live in NYC for a few years, so I do know the difference between what they sell at the grocery and real sushi. I was a Moritomo loyalist for years, but the sushi here is better, especially for the fancier rolls. They do some (great) rolls for half price after 8:30p on Fri and Sat night, but service can be VERY slow and the discount is dine in only.

A few hours after I ate here I began throwing up. I beleive I have food poisoning. I dont reccomend any of the food. Wait staff is very rude. They could work on their customer service skills. I also call this place "itchy bum". Looks like from the comments other people had bad experiences. With experiances like this i recommend the board of health department to stop by.

This used to be a decent night but but I honestly feel robbed. The man that cooked our food looked annoyed and lethargic, got irritated that we asked for tamari. Snickering and speaking another language, he rolled his eyes as he shook it on. For some cheap steak, rice and half cooked vegetables, we all know its the show were paying for but there wasnt either. Shame

7:30 reservations 12 top no apps out by 11 I ordered a drink every time one was offered. I got 2 drinks. Actually I grabbed the waitress and requested the second. Suggested _that she might enjoy asking the rest of the group if they were interested. She declined. Food was super duper salty. Moritomo is much better. As is wendys

We eat sushi quite often and this place is one of our all time favorites. The food is delicious and the restaurant has a comfortable dining atmosphere. The hibachi grill is a lot of fun for groups and the bar is large with a good assortment of beer on tap. My son loves the fish tanks that they have throughout the restaurant.

Waited about five minutes then Had to ask for a menus was given dinner menus , go figure it was still lunch ,all while watching them on there phones. , handed my draft beer buy the rim of the glass . Never asked how are food was, food was Ok, then needed to ask for the bill . Bar top was dirty. Never again !
