So I visited a Shake Shack in NYC and I think I may have just had a bad experience or went to the wrong location. The location in Harvard Square changed my feeling about Shake Shack and I will be returning soon. This location also serves beer and wine much like their competitor Tasty Burger down the road. While I did not try them I was surprised and happy to see that this location does not serve their traditional crinkle fries that are served at other locations. I hate crinkle fries as they remind me of the fries that were served during grammar school lunch. Shack Stack - The burger and fried mushroom combo here is exquisite. The fried mushroom burger filled with cheese and hints of truffle really put this over the top. Next time I order one I have to figure out how not to have the cheese explode out of it. Lemonade - Pretty much what you would expect Strawberry Shake - A good strawberry shake, nothing fancy just darn good

This is the most atrocious shake shack Ive ever had the extreme misfortune to have been sucked into. The food would be cold...if it ever came. The line is so long that people waiting on the line might as well sit at the tables. The restraint is loud from the shrieks of peple who find hair in their food. If you want to speak to the manager he is smoking on the street corner outside.the employees r too busy getting it on in the back to make food. They forgot the damn lettuce. This is reflective of the capiltist greed plaguing our society today. I miss the time where u could get a nice socialist burger made with love and not the tears of unpaid workers struggling to succumb to prostitution. This restrauntt could turn any trumps supporter into a Bernie fan through the sheer horrific example of the failures of the capitalist system. O... and the fries are cold.

Its almost impressive how little the employees here care. A friend of mine and I come here after work for fries pretty often as they are nice and crispy, but have never been impressed with the service. Both of us work in retail so we are understanding. She had to wait over 5 minutes for fries and a coke the past time we came, and we could even see the soda and fries just sitting there waiting to be put on the counter; we had to ask an employee. Also they dont take care of the bathroom well. That same night, one stall was out of toilet paper, the paper towels were out so someone just put a roll of toilet paper on top, and the trash was overflowing. At least the fries are [almost always] good. One time I got some that were so hard, I couldnt chew them. This place frankly doesnt deserve the rep it has.

I had 2 conflicting experiences here: the one simple classic burger tasted delicious and I just loved it. The double bacon burger also tasted good but half-way through I realized how salty it was. Like heavily loaded with sodium-based ingredients. So, it wasnt pleasant after-all. Their shake was good and as any shake, lots of sugar. From the moment my buzzer rang to when I received my food, more than 5-10 went by, with me and a decent crowd all waiting puzzled. Please address or sync the buzz with the food being actually ready. I like playing the fusball in the harvard square restaurant, but the one I played was just broken to the point the game made no sense. If I had to go back, Ill just get the regular burger.

Finally a Shake Shack location closer to Boston! Coming from NY this chain servers great burgers, fries, and shakes and now its finally in town. The prices are higher then most burger fast food places but given these are more "upscale" burgers its worth it. With tasty burger across the street open till 4am, shake shack will have a run for its money. The veggie burger is awesome and not your typical veggie pattie but deep fried portobello caps with cheese which is amazing down tot he last bite!

OMG gosh is this place a zoo at 7PM!!! If youre planning on eating at Shake Shack, prepare to fight for a place too sit. Okay, not fight, everyone is peaceful, but if you see someone finishing their burger, you better be pretty vigilant about grabbing their seat before someone else will. Also, skip the fries. Its like eating greasy potato sticks. The burger, double style however, well I have no regrets. It was an amazing time. Shakes are very heavy, but I split one and had a grand ole time.

Sometimes I read about the long lines in NY and laugh. This gem is tucked away in the heart of Harvard Square and it takes about 5-7 minutes to order and get your food. I understand what all the fuss is about; these are well constructed burgers with great ingredients. I think there are better burgers in Harvard Square but Shake Shack is a great choice. Great fries (Im a sucker for crinkle cut fries) and great hot dogs too!

Harvard Square didnt have a line on a beautiful weekend! Stellar! Nice location with a few outdoor seats and an upstairs. The Shroom Burger is out of control. A deep fried portobello mushrooms stuffed with gooey melty cheddar….INSANE. Get it. Coffee shake is dark with some bitter notes, fabulous as a sweet milkshake that doesnt destroy your sweet tooth. I love Shake Shack, as always, and the location is fantastic.

Shake Shack makes delicious burgers, hot dogs, fries and shakes. The Shack-cago dog is a Chicago-style hot dog and definitely worth getting if you want a hot dog. The SmokeShack is my favorite burger (cheese, bacon, chopped cherry peppers and "shack sauce"). The vegetarian ShroomBurger is also great and something I order just because. And you cant go wrong with cheese fries.

Ive seen many people who prefer Shake Shack over Tasty Burger but if there is a line at Shake Shack, dont expect to get your burger for at least 30 minutes. If that seems unappealing to you, go to Tasty Burger where the line is almost always short. Other than that, its a Shake Shake. Pretty good burgers, slightly expensive for the quality.

I love it here! The food is great, not super pricey but definitely not "cheap". If you get a meal here you definitely have to try their frozen custard. The red velvet concrete (vanilla frozen yogurt with red velvet cake mixed in) is definitely a must try! They are also very dog friendly and over treats that you can purchase for your pet.

Food is good enough, but all I ordered was a simple burger and drink but waited while people behind me in line got their orders before me. I finally had to ask for it, & when I did, the staff seemed more interested in their phones than me. Paid about $10 for the experience. I doubt the chain is like that, but my experience was.

가성비가 짱입니다. 특히 패트 맛이 일품이구요, 가격도 엄청 착합니다. 여기서 드실때에는 더블사이즈를 깅추합니다. 싱글 사이즈는 좀 양이 적은듯 해서요

Liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was okay...I was expecting more from them given all the hype Ive heard. Trying to leave when there is a line is also a pain because the line forms right through the door and crowds there; very difficult to get out like this.

Nice burgers cooked crisp along the edges. Some of the best French fries Ive had in years, crinkle cut and fried very crispy but not burned or over cooked. Unsweetened iced tea available. My food was prepared quickly and served hot. A great lunch experience.
