Been wanting to try Jakes Wayback Burger since they came to Stoughton, finally stopped by. All their burger are made to order (similar to Five Guys) so I ordered/paid online to cut the wait time; food was made exactly as ordered and picked up within 10 minutes. We got the Burger of the Month (Philly Burger), hot dog, onion rings and a malt shake. The side of o-rings was more than enough for two people and the food was pretty good. The hot dog was okay, but its a hot dog. My friend raved about how good her shake was! Only downside: no separate register/line for pickup orders so I had to wait behind a very indecisive consumer for what felt like an eternity to pickup my burger. Its a small complaint but if I already paid for my order online then pickup should take < 1min. If were using Five Guys as the burger litmus test, Jakes Wayback is on the same level but with more choices (onion rings, lots of shakes, burger of the month).

This place sucks! I went to pick up food I had ordered over the phone and they gave it to someone else...so I asked what she was going to do to correct her mistake. She said that I could wait for her to remake my order?! (This lady was the Manager by the way) I expressed to her my dissatisfaction and she didnt give a damn! Not to mention I emailed the Owner and its been many months and still havent received a response. This place is by far the slowest most disrespectful place I have ever been to and havent spent a dime there since! If youre thinking of stopping in this dumpster fire keep it moving it and go somewhere else where they value theyre customers and when they make a mistake known how to rectify the situation!

Longer wait than I would have liked, since it was slow at the time. There was some extra time at the register, cashier was distracted. The 2 man staff seemed overwhelmed between my order for 3, plus 2 couples that came in behind me. I know Im picking it apart, but I have run restaurants my whole life. I cant help but notice everything. The staff definitely came together and got everything ready, plus correctly. Sounds crazy, but its not that easy. They did a great job putting the order together. I will be a repeat customer. Nice job, great flavors!!!

The food here is decent. Its better than the typical fast food joint like McDs or BK. That said I waited THIRTY minutes for: 2 burgers, 1 salad, 1 small shake and 1 order of mac&cheese bites. There was no line when I arrived, and there was nothing weird or complicated about my order. Decent quality food that costs a premium, and takes LONGER than I would have spent going to a real restaurant for lunch makes this a no-brainer. AVOID

Ordered tenders for my daughter, they brought them out and they were black! I stated they were burned but said they werent!!! Im pretty sure tenders arent suppose to be black! Obviously my daughter wasnt going to eat them so I asked to exchange for something else.. manager made me pay for the other item my daughter wanted... Wish I got a picture before giving them back! Also, no soap in the dispenser in the bathroom.....

WAY TO GO JAKE"S! I have not ever had such great service AND friendly as I have at Jakes Wayback Burgers in Stoughton! The burgers are delicious. They actually taste like meat OH and the onion rings...I cant say enough about them. They are really onions and not tiny little things mostly coated with breading. They are SCRUMPTIOUS! The shakes are just right too! Why I think Jakes is my favorite burger place.

I must say this was a very unpleasant experience and I dont think Ill ever return. 4 orders. All were wrong. 1 cook and 1 person taking orders. Took longer than normal to get my food. I travel all over the country and unfortunately this place has been added to my top 5 list of places to stay away from. First and last time.

I loved this place, used to go almost every week. However I ate there last night and imidatly after my stomach started to hurt. A few hours later I was vomiting and doing other unpleasant things. After reading other comments and seeing Im not the first person to experience this, I no longer feel safe eating here.

The staff was really nice! They have gluten free buns, which is nice, but the buns do crumble. I got the turkey sandwich, which was OK. The fries and shake were really good. My husband got the chicken sandwich which he liked. Better than going to a big chain burger place, reasonably priced.

Worst I have ever had, bread was soggy and ice cold as if they had just taken it out of the freezer. They got the toppings all wrong and the wait was ridiculous there were like two people in the place. One good thing was in fact the shake. Food=bad shakes=A++ rating in my book.

Many times a return customer. Their burgers are as good if not better than 5Guys and the folks that run this particular spot are always incredibly friendly and helpful. Burgers come out straight off the griddle, and the buns are always fresh. Im a big fan.

Food made me sick after eating there, was the only thing I had eaten that day until that point. Ended up vomiting with diarrhea, very poor food safety going on at this establishment, DONT GO!

This place is pretty nostalgic. Burgers and shakes are both high quality. The atmosphere feels like a retro fast food joint. I think that is what they are going for.
