I went here for the first time recently with about 15 of my friends on a Saturday night. The place was almost completely empty for some reason, save for a couple of emo chicks in tutus and an old man on the dance floor, but we decided to make the best of it. It seemed to be 80s/90s night and the DJ was playing really bad/unpopular music from the era. My friends and I had a blast anyways though, dancing and being silly. Sadly, the fun ended abruptly when one of my friends accidentally dropped his drink and the glass broke. The bouncer ran over to us and despite my friends apologies about the damage, the bouncer decided to kick all 15 of us (which was about 90% of the patrons in there) out of the bar. He claimed we were all wasted. I didnt know dancing meant we were drunk. The bouncer then followed us outside and told us we were banned from the bar for life and said we were all "horrible people" because of a broken glass and the fact that one of my friends knocked a chair over on our way out. Needless to say, this was my first and last time (even if we hadnt been kicked out) ever going to this place, and I recommend that everyone else stay away too.

Ive only been there on 90s night (Fridays), and the music was very iconic 90s. It was a blast. The complaints I have about this place are that you have to wait in line even before the official switch from restaurant to bar. I recommend getting there before 9pm. The other massive complaint I have is that their coat rack is a nightmare. At the end of the night jackets are left in piles on the floor (even if you neatly hung them up on the coat rack). After spending 30 minutes sorting through the pile of jackets on the floor, I still couldnt find my jacket. I witnessed people putting on wrong jackets (possibly due to intoxication) and then realizing it wasnt theirs. Either hold on to your jacket or put it in a corner somewhere. The music was great, but it was a pain waiting in line in the cold when there clearly was enough space inside, and having my jacket stolen.

I went here on a whim with some friends on a Thursday night. The bar tender was friendly, but the doorman was extremely rude. They didnt give us a warning for last call, and when I tried to go back inside the doorman refused to let me go get my jacket ten feet from the door (even upon my insistence that I could do this in about 30 seconds). The beer I had was a good IPA. Also terrible Karaoke (not necessarily the establishments fault).

Awesome, awesome bar. I went there for 90s night with a bunch of friends and it not only was a throwback gem of a night but the bar was surprisingly spacious enough and they had a patio area out back for smokers and people looking for relief from their Backstreet Boys induced sweating. Bartenders were attentive and made some damn strong gin and gingers.

Overall a good beer selection with tons of craft beers and some domestic. Prices between $5 to $7. The crowed tends to be a more professional one compared to Whitehorse and TITS. On Fridays and Saturdays the line gets SUPER long and doesnt move at all. There is also usually a cover. Definitely go on Thursdays for karaoke.

If youre looking for a not-quite-divebar to dance hard and drink to your favorite throwbacks, this is it. Ended up here accidentally but loved it-$6.50 for strong well drinks and quick bar service. Im not sure Id eat here though, Im always skeptical of restaurants-turned-dance floors.

They have a themed event almost every night. Friday 90s night is their most famous and a pretty good time; just be prepared to be elbow to elbow with sweating drunk people. The music is pretty awesome though. Trivia on Tuesdays is my personal favorite.

I usually visit Common Ground on Friday nights for 90s night with DJ Phat Mike. The playlist is amazing and Ive always had a great time. There is a nice selection of beers. The cover charge is $5. Saturdays have Millenium Night, which also is pretty good.

Went there on a Friday night with a bunch of friends, it was 90s night, which is always fun. Drinks were reasonable, and typical bar food. Went there reasonably early so no cover and wasnt crowded.
