11/28/2014 I am so glad to have the barking dog restaurant/bar/pub in downtown Amesbury , Massachusetts. I was greeted by (Jessica , I believe ? ) next Mr . Eric took my coat /gloves / scarf and held them for me while I enjoyed the delicious fare!!! Mr. Pepe the bartender was awesome , and I was very pleased with my broiled Cod with a side of awesome spinanch , and delicious fresh green beans. I also had a house salad with olive oil / balsamic vinegar from the cruets , this salad was wicked awesome as well !!! Kudos to this organization , from the top down , excellent staff , eric the manager , Jessica , and the very fun lively atmosphere/ guests. I will definately return again & again. The Barking Dog is without doubt one of the best pubs in the area. The staff make you feel at home but without doubt they have one of the best burgers available. A wide range of good beers and food that is always tasty and freshly cooked just add to the pleasure of visiting.

Went for drinks with friends...actually watched the bartender water down my SoCo on the rocks...drinks were overpriced, took forever to get to the table, and the waitstaff is often more absorbed in their own conversations than serving their patrons. Avoid at all costs!
