Solid burger and awesome fried cheese curds. A few vegetarian options, my partner had their veggie burger, it looked fairly standard. They also have gluten free buns, if that is your thing. Burgers were $6, sides were $3. An adequate variety of beers on tap, a decent pint costs $7. We went on a Sunday night. Atmosphere was mellow, but welcoming. We sat at the bar and made fast friends, I am not someone who usually does that. We ended up talking the night away with a few folks. Definitely will be going back.

While the Ave has a fine burger, a very very okay burger in fact, I was disappointed when I headed over to the jukebox and after my second of four plays of Man I Feel Like A Woman came on, my queue was deleted. When I tried to go put on Smooth by Santana ft. Rob Thomas, not only did my song not play, but the price had be raised on the jukebox. What type of cow patty is that? My friend proceeded to go put on a play for Smooth by Santana Ft. Rob Thomas but it never came on.

Come on one of their discounted nights, such as for the legendary $2 burger or for the $2 tacos (theyre actually really good, by the way!) and you cant go wrong. Good beer selection that rotates often. Go with friends and chill. Shot specials too so feel free to dig into that if thats more your fancy, depending on the time of night. Good for a bite or just to toss a few back with friends. Cheers.

Really, really love this place. It came under new ownership sometime in the past few years, and its quickly gone from being an iffy dive bar to a fantastic place to meet up and unwind after work. Beer selection is varied and well-priced (pretty big fan of the Golden Monkey), appetizers are tasty, burgers are legit good, and you can always get a seat. Honestly, one of my favorite pubs in Boston.

This was a good place for a quick bite. Inexpensive and the food is fresh. We enjoyed the burgers and the tacos. I tried the sweet potato tots, ask for their chipotle ranch to go with them instead of ketchup! It is right by the Harvard St T stop, do not recommend trying to park around here.

Its like going to your living room, except that your living room is full of people to talk to, tasty burgers and a constantly rotating selection of fine beers and ciders. Really, the bartenders and staff are top notch, come stay a while.

Great burgers and a ton of beers on tap. A fun atmosphere thats the perfect place to chill with friends or watch a game. $2 burgers every day after 10pm and all day Monday! Also enjoy 50 cent Wings on Tuesdays and tacos Wednesdays :)

The service is quick and the selection has good variety. Love it here! The downside is that it can get crowded on game nights (like most Allston bars) and after 9pm the music is quite loud. Still, amazing prices and good drinks.
