Soooooo to throughly understand this review and rating I have to give you the brief background. Take a journey with me as we flashback....When I lived in another southern state(s) I literally ate at Sonic nearly everyday. The service was quick, the food was always correct and the customer service was on par. Fast forward a few years. I move up north and to my dismay Sonic is not as popular as where I came from, so much so that no Sonic was available. Disappointment yes, but I still loved Sonic and would visit as much as possible as soon as a I hit 95 South. Recently I find out that a Sonic is finally coming to Maryland, but a sinking feeling immediately overcame me. I dunno I just feel like its going to bad idea, albeit however much I loved Sonic. In a gist, Maryland, Waldorf namely, is NOT prepared for a Sonic location. Its not the same, customer service, food, timely orders, is what Im used to and this location doesnt deliver. Im soooooooo disappointed in this location that my love for Sonic has dwindled somewhat. Wow. I visited 3 times before and the first two times I left due to the long wait. On the day I did finally order I find out that theyve ran out of scrambled eggs for the Breakfast Burrito that I wanted to order. Now mind you, Ive never had this happen at the Southern Sonic venues. My heart sunk even further. Its just not worth it I tell myself. So to stay tried and true to my everlasting love for Sonic Im going to keep the thrill alive and never visit this establishment again. Ill just wait until my occasional visits back South. Because honeyyyyy this "aint" it.

COLD/OLD FOOD, BAD SERVICE, This place makes Sonic look really bad. Heres a rundown of our terrible experience. Me & my girlfriend drove about 40 minutes to go visit This Sonic in Waldorf expecting the same A+ Quality as the Sonic down in Fredericksburg. Boy was I mistaken! Employees just standing around talking to each other, Non Sonic employees running to the back area to talk to employees. MUCH MORE BIG MESS! For one the person taking our order "Adelman Carhop" or something like that has a very "I hate my job" attitude. Me & my girlfriend were waiting in line for about 5 minutes, as she calls us up shes like " Sirrrrrrrrr" , and pointed to the front of the line. She took our order and we waited for about 25-30 minutes to receive our food. (Note that their were customers there before us who were still waiting for there food) When we finally received our meal figures they messed up our order. (They also gave us cold and obvisouly not fresh tater tots and fries.) So we go up the register to tell her they messed up our order and that we just want the difference paid back. So the girl (Carhop) rolls her eyes and goes to the back to grab the manager. They both come out and seem to have had a hard time understanding what happened & eventually after clearly dealing with a crappy managed franchise, we just said FORGET IT! Dont worry about it. The manager was nice enough to come to us and hand us a coupon for 2 free meals but I have never been so disgusted with Sonic in my life. No use in the coupon, for sure never going back to this location. STICK TO THE SONIC IN FREDERICKSBURG

I will never, I repeat NEVER be visiting this place again. I pulled up to the drive through and the menu was tiny and chaotic. They didnt have a SINGLE vegetarian option, besides fries tater tots and mozzarella sticks. The person taking my order made me wait at least 3 minutes before actually taking my order, and he sounded checked out and uninterested the whole time. There were 3 cars ahead of me but it took about 12 minutes to get up to the window. The man brought my bad of food to the counter, opened the door, processed my payment and closed the door. He then made me wait another 4 minutes for him to open the window again and hand me my food WHEN IT WAS SITTING ON THE COUNTER. I got tater tots and mozzarella sticks, which were good, but the amount of trouble I had to go through to get them do not make them worth it at all. Saying no to this Sonic

Service is absolutely Terrible you wait in line for God knows howhat long for then to still mess up your order. They didnt give me napkins I was asked do I need them ummm I ordered food so what do you think? Not to mention hours are incorrect they need to update the site also wheres the number I wanted to talk with management on my order being wrong and no I will not drive back to wait in a long line. They have been open almost a month and have So many employees but they move so slow. What did you do hire inexperienced teenagers. I know franchise will have people from other locations come help open and train the store but this is horrible all those people I saw inside and it took that long to give me my food and its still wrong. I wish I could give Zero Stars. Do not recommend this location no more Ill travel elsewhere to a different location

The actual food is not so great, kind of reminds me of Dennys style restaurant food. But their drinks are on a whole.....notha.....level! The strawberry ice cream slush and blueberry coconut slush are so addictive. Didnt try the other flavors yet, but I will. As far as customer service goes, theres a young lady here at the window who is always so nice and has a smile on her face at all times, truly phenomenal customer service. The speed of this place is slow though....the line can get awfully long at times. But if customer service is more your thing than the wait, like me! then this is the place for you too

Worst service ever and the food was not good. Go somewhere else. Used the drive thru on a Wednesday and it took almost an hour to finally get our food. Once we got to the window, it looked like nobody knew what they were doing. Poorly trained staff is a reflection of bad management and owners that are too stupid to make sure the location is run properly. I will NEVER go to this Sonic again and if they dont clean up their act, this store will close and investments will be lost. I wasted more on gas sitting in line than the food was worth and they didnt comp anyone for their inept service.

I dont know if its corporate or franchise and whose fault it is, but they need to get it together with the hours. Ive been there at least three times where they were closing early and it was at three different times. I asked if they were out if food and they said no their staff just needs to go home. And that they close different times and each day they are staying open longer and longer. Really? This is poor service and not a way to start business. Why do they not have a sign staying hours will vary untill demand calms?

This place is horrible. I usually drive down to fredricksburg for sonic but I decided to try this place because it is a little closer to me. I was very disappointed at the service. We parked, got greeted in a timely manner but about midway into taking our order the lady said "I cant hear anything" and just stops taking our order. We went to the drive thru to order again and the lady there kept getting out order wrong. We had to keep repeating ourselves. Im definitely making the drive to Fredericksburg next time.
