This is one of the only decent restaurants that stay open late. It is a place that serves stereotypical dive/diner food which is not a bad thing but theres nothing that stands out food wise. The dessert selection on the other hand is very diverse. They have delicious cannolis and the cheesecake is very dense so try splitting it with someone. This is not why I gave this place 2 stars. The reason is because of the service. I know that a group of young adults/teens may seem like a hassle, but you are being paid to deal with it, and i make sure EVERYONE tips. The last time we went to Nautilus, the waitress thought we were disrespecting her. She said "how come every time I turn around you act like you have something smart to say." This assumption was wrong. It was simply a missunderstanding between our group and the waitress. Thats not the point. It was the fact that PAYING, REGULAR patrons were being disrespected. Now i know how hard it is to work night shifts, but you are expected to deal with anything the same as if it was night or day. We will be returning here, but if this kind of discourtesy happens again we will be taking our buisness elsewhere. I dont want to get any one in trouble because I understand the struggle the workers of the food industry go through, but this attitude must change.

Ive been coming to this diner for years. Today I had such a terrible experience that I will probably never go back again. The waitress gave me a check with charges for juice and a cup of coffee, which I never ordered. She did correct this. It still seemed like a really high bill so I checked the menu to see if it was correct and was blown away that they were charging so much for 4 pieces of bacon.... $1 a slice for very small pieces of bacon. When I went to pay I said something to the foreign woman with short blonde hair who was ringing me up because I was so shocked at the price. She was so incredibly rude. She said in a dismissive way to me that what they charge is the standard price around here and that I could go to the other restaurants in the area and they charge the same. I work in a customer service job and I would never in a million years have spoken to a customer that way. I live very close to this diner but after this experience, I will drive a little further and go to the Towson diner instead.

Ive been here multiple times, and every time the service is VERY VERY poor. The most recent visit a friend and I went for breakfast at around 6am before work. The waitress walked up to us to take our order while chewying on a bagel or roll. The food was good up until we both found a hair in the eggs and scrapple. It was a long black hair! YUCK! We didnt notice this until we were almost done eating! I was so discusted I just wanted to leave. I told the waitress and she didnt seem to care at all, like this is a normal occurance. The waitress handed us the check as soon as she brought out the food, and didnt ask if we needed refils or anything else. When I asked for a coffee to go, she made it seem like it was the biggest incoinvence ever, she said she hated people like us. Since there was no one else in the diner she had to be talking about us. i regret giving her a tip!! THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND THE FOOD EVEN WORSE!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Ive been here many many times since last year. I will miss eating here since Im moving. Its awesome to be able to eat anytime and have so much to choose from. Having delicious food late at night is a huge plus. Sunday almost everything is closed early (work on weekends) so I always go here. One waiter, Im not sure his name was amazing. I had to give him a huge tip. The only times I dont like coming here before midnight in a weekend or now, during the week. Too many people my age and younger who are too loud. The breakfast is a lot of food. Pancakes are huge and yummy. The egg and though or sausage are usually not much from my experience. French toast is also good most of the time. I have had it burnt a bit.. Some items are a hit or miss and others are just amazing. Some items are a bit high for that they are. I mainly like the appetizers and pancakes. They have alcohol but some are not worth the price. Other then that, good place.

This place is near my job and its the last place e would choose to eat. A new hire decided he was going to go there because of its close proximity.. No one warned the guy or paid it any attention until he is in the middle of eating his food and pulls a long piece of hair out of his mouth which had been embedded in his food. Sadly this isnt the 1st time its happened here. Not sure if this place has new owners or something but stay away at all costs. There are a lot of choices in the area and sonic is right new door. faster cleaner and and hairless food lol.

I am giving them a one star because the food just did not taste good. I ordered eggs, potatoes and sausage. I did not taste any seasoning whatsoever. In fact the only thing I tasted was the ketchup I put on top. Plus my eggs were overcooked so they were way too dry. My partners food wasnt good either. He ordered their Western Omelette and it was also not seasoned. Again only tasted the ketchup he put on top. Although the place was nicely decorated and staff was friendly. Would recommend IHop instead!

If you order a turkey dinner, be sure to specify brown gravy. I didnt (and wasnt informed there was an option), and it came smothered in the "house" bright yellow gravy which was essentially inedible to my taste (closest I can relate it to is essence of bathroom or kitchen cleaner - gross!). Why would you expect other than brown turkey gravy with a turkey dinner? At least request gravy on the side so it doesnt spoil your whole meal. Not the Thanksgiving meal I had anticipated....

We decided to stop here after all day travelling. We hadnt eaten dinner and at 1 am needed to eat. Service was great. Waitress was very nice. Overall food was decent. My husband got pancakes and liked them. I ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy. Definitely not the best Ive ever had. If you know good biscuits and gravy dont order this. They are remodeling and the paint fumes were pretty bad. They probably should have taken the time to close for reno work and reopen fresh.

Best diner Ive seen in Maryland. Top notch everything, except chocolate chip cookies, and thats expected as diners can never make a good cookie. The butter is real, and NOT a margarine/butter blend which is rare and outstanding, these days. The syrup is a good syrup, making the pancakes taste good. The whole breakfast was delicious. I couldnt ask for better. And I didnt get sick, unlike that dog-food you get at the Double T chain of diners.
