Update: We like to eat here when we have guests from out of town because it is a unique dining experience, and weve always had good food. Stopped in recently on Friday night with guests from out of town. The service was very good (always offering refills on sodas & taking away dirty dishes, etc...). The chef preparing our meal was very good & entertaining. The food was very fresh & flavorful. Its still our favorite hibachi place in York. Previous: Weve eaten here several times over the past few years - really enjoy the hibachi dining, and everything has always been well prepared and tasty. We usually get some sushi as an appetizer, and it has always been very good, as well. Its a fun dining experience, and we often enjoy meeting other people who are sharing the table. We will be back to this place again for the good food and the entertaining cooking show. Id recommend this restaurant to others who want to try the hibachi dining experience.

The majority of the staff seem friendly enough... however the food is mediocre at best... there is another Japanese hibachi restaurant on the west end that has much better food. The salad dressing was overwhelming and gritty, the soup was weak on flavor and the "onions " in it were hard... the entrée was more of the same dry rice with little flavor, the veggies were almost all mushrooms, pretty sure I was given a childs serving of steak... Next time I will take myself across town for that amount of money....

This place is quiet, mature, and very tasteful. It is a simple retreat full of amazing food. The menu is huge and full of fun typos, which with an open mind, can start a great conversation. The service also comes very language barrier free! The permanent staff (owners and their family) are very fluent in English and make you feel at home. And when the owner is making Sushi, he is a WIZARD. The young chef is extremely talented as well. I recommend the house special highly.

tries. They butcher frozen fish and try to call it sushi. I got a good portion of eggshell in my hibachi rice. I ordered steak bloody rare but it came out blackened charred. I ate less than two bites of my meal and complained of its inadequacy, yet they still had the nerve to challenge me multiple times and charge for it. We deserve better for our money.

Staff is nice and professional ,and the food is good, if running close to closing time they never rush you out, had a dinner party for my daughters graduation, everything was awesome, Go there for a celebration with my co workers for our years of service everyyear thanks Patricia and family

A treasure in a small place like York PA. Great people and excellent sushi choices. Reasonably prices and NO MICKEY MOUSE STATUE outside! You should keep eating at McDonalds Sir as there is NO comparison here! Excellent fried rice and green tea! Thanks for serving the York area.

This place is so Mickey Mouse that there should be a statue of Walt Disney standing outside. I went because of these reviews. It is apparent to me that those who reviewed this place previously either work there or are relatives. Or, they think that McDonalds is gourmet dining.

OUTSTANDING! We used to drive to Maryland for good Hibachi food. Once Tokyo Diner came to Lancaster and then York, we no longer needed to go out of our way. Truely amazing food!!! And the family is awesome:) Very friendly and also aim to please.

My wife and I come here about once a month, weve never had any issues and the food has been good quality and good portion size. My wife gets the sushi, and Ive gotten both the hibachi and also the cooked sushi, weve enjoyed whatever we ordered.

The food was good and staff were friendly. Unfortunately if you have any kind of food allergy do not even bother eating there. The same utensils were used the whole time during cooking and I needed to take a benadryl after eating.

They make the BEST sushi in York, no doubt about it. Their prices are moderate, and they always have coupons available in Yorks daily paper. The only bad thing about them is the drinks :( For some reason theyre just not very good.

Best sushi in town! Join the Royal Sushi Club for $10 and you can have "all-u-can-eat" sushi for like $24.95. I can easily eat $50-$60 worth a la carte. The most friendly staff, fresh sushi and peaceful atmosphere…5 stars!!!

I go here fairly often for sushi. Its on point, always. Last couple Saturdays that Ive been here, it was packed for hibachi. They must be doing something right. If you get a chance, stop in.
