We felt bad for the employees when we learned that this diner had to cut back on its business hours. After this evenings experience, we know exactly why their sales are down. The food was mediocre, and the service was terrible. A decade ago this diner was packed, and understandably so. Once upon a time, the food and service were excellent. This evening, we (a party of three) were served stale bread, dry meatloaf, a dry Panini sandwich, and a soggy gyro. The French fries were overcooked and salty. Stuffing most of our meals in carry out bags, my wife offered this diner a chance at redemption by selecting one of their desserts. The waitress was extremely good at enticing my wife to buy a dessert (for a larger tip?). The dessert was actually pretty good (they must have an outside party prepare their desserts). Before she could eat half of her dessert, the shift manager shut off the lights to our section of the diner. Assuming that this was an honest oversight, we called him over to our table. To our dismay, we learned that his actions were deliberate, and he refused to turn on the lights. He insisted that we had to hurry along because the diner closed at 10:00pm - it was only 10:05pm when he shut off the lights! To add insult to injury, the manager rudely turned off the lights to their parking lot before we could get to our cars. Walking with the assistance of a cane, I could have had a bad fall. With a clown like this manager running the show, the owner better have a great insurance policy and/ or lawyer. Had we been notified of their rude lights-out policy, we would not have only passed on dessert, but we would have passed on this dump altogether. Going forward, we are going to pass on this poor excuse for a restaurant, and we suggest that others do the same. There are too many good restaurants in Bel Air, MD to settle for the Double-T Diner.

Wow... i was shocked when I first got in. It doesnt look like a Dinner. More like an old peoples home. 5 minutes after my husband and I set down, the place got crowded with older folks. So it seems they like the place. Now this is our experience. I got the Turkey club wrap witch came with a soup and fries. Had the broccoli cream soup. This soup was clearly a sauce! Not a soup! And not fresh! The Turkey meat in the wrap was so old you could taste that. The Bacon was old. You know how some foods taste when they sit for days in the fridge? Its smell and taste different?! Yeah. Thats what I had. My husbands meal just the same. Well, all I can say now.... never again... first and last time there.

I will NEVER go to this place again! I called 2 hours before hand because we were bringing in 13 guests for a bite to eat. After arriving all letting them know we were there we waited 45 minutes without a word from them. I went back to host and he told me I had made my reservation for 11 am and not 10:30 am. He was too busy waiting in others customers to even provide me any idea I found when would be seated. After a full hour of waiting we left. We went to Bushmill Tavern and they had our table waiting for us after we made a call on the way there. Amazing different in customer service.

The double t diner in bel air is horrible! I have personal experience I was an employee and lasted only a week before I quit the kitchen is very dirty, some of the chefs that cook your food smoke the whole time they are cooking. They handle food with there hands often and the bacon sits in the window all day before being changed. If you ever think about getting a job there dont the owner is super rude and thinks everyone is out to steal from him he has no respect for any of his employees. The chefs are super disrespectful also. The only good thing about this place was some of the employees.

Ordered chipped beef on toast (an old fave of mine). There was a lot of chipped beef left over so I asked for a piece of toast so I could finish it. The kind waitress told me the manager said they would have to charge me $2 extra for "extra toast"! The solution was I asked for a Togo box for the extra - its practically another serving of chipped beef. Felt sorry for the nice waitress - she was very attentive and worked hard. Crazy to think that $9 SOS would require an up charge for toast! lol

My experience here was awful. They have a one refill with your meal policy . Anymore than that youre paying. I order shrimp Alfredo and it came out with something in it that looked like a hair ball of some sort after mixing my food . They removed the meal from my bill, but tried to insult my intelligences, saying it was something from the shrimp and decided to debate with me about the situation. I know what hair and a dirt ball looks like. I will never visit this place again.

The food was good but if you ever have a problem the people they have behind the desk and especially the manager are the most unprofessional people that I have ever dealt with. I was a steady customer for many years there, now I well fine other places to go that treat people with some respect and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, its a shame because the food was good and I never had a problem with the other people there, just the management.

it says open til 11 on Sundays, so I show up at 9:45pm, and as Im walking up to the door, an employee walks up to the door, without a word and locks it from the inside. So I knock and he signals that its closed. Another employee is standing smirking at the door... Ive never received this kind of service at the any double ts- needless to say Im very disappointed.

Stopped in on a busy Saturday morning, only had to wait about 10 mins to be seated. Not a big deal, Bel Air is a shitshow on Saturdays so I expected it to be very busy. Once seated our waiter quickly stopped by and took our orders. Had food on the table in SEVEN minutes! Seven. Good luck trying to get that at IHOP. Good diner food, hot and quick.
