This place was recommended to me by two people, they both said good things. Going into this place my expectations were high and i was slightly disappointed. Our waitress made us feel rushed when ordering, I ordered a wrap with soup and fries, the soup i chose would cost me extra and fries were extra too. Refills are also extra, it felt like everything was extra. The soup was the Maryland spicy crab, that is what i was most anticipating and i was very disappointed. It did not taste like crab, was not spicy, and had too many vegetables in it. Not what i was expecting at all. My wrap was okay at best, it was supposed to come with dijon mustard and i had to ask for that and she put a bottle on the table, i would of expected if it says served with on the menu i would expect a dish with mustard in it or on the wrap, not a bottle. Maybe i am overreacting but overall it was not that great of a experience like i have heard it was for other people. I probably would not go back.

I came in with high hopes. Hearing positive things from friends so I decided to give this restaurant a chance. Sadly my experience was one of the worse ive had at a restaurant. 1: The waitress had a horrible attitude and attentiveness was lacking. 2: the menu had around 15 chef specials. Only 3 of them were on the main page and then the rest were listed on cards. The main page stated all specials come with a salad and desert. Well apparently that isnt the case with the majority of specials. 3: the meal I got was chicken and waffles. It was $13. What arrived on my plate was 3 chicken strips and a skimpy waffle with maybe 2 spoon fulls of syrup. 4: when telling the cashier about our experience be responded with "we usually get good reviews. Sorry." and have us a free peppermint patty. Thanks Overal. Poor food. Poor quality. Poor amount. Do not recommend.

This a great place to go if you have a group and no one can decide what type of food theyd like. They have a little bit of everything, from Greek to Homestyle, Italian, etc. Ive been here several times and it never disappoints. The wait staff is quick, friendly, and caring. The food is cooked to perfection and is savory. The environment is fun- very 60s diner to me. Overall, its a great place with VERY reasonable prices. Also, their desserts are phenomenal if you have enough room after the large portion!

Love this place. We were visiting from Boston and went to the diner for dinner one night...we were blown away. The food selection, the cleanliness, the service, the decor...all top notch. In fact, we went back 2 more times, once for ice cream (you have to try the ice cream!) and once for breakfast. Cannot say enough good things about this place. I even purchased a mug so Id remember it. When we are back in the Hershey area, well certainly drop in again.

Youve probably heard good things about this place. As a Hershey resident, I used to be one of the people singing its praises, but I recently went back after years and it has changed. The atmosphere is more muted, and feels less fun than it used to, the staff when I went were generally unprofessional. The food was extremely lack-luster (seriously the most boring homefries of my life). I dont know what changed, but I now tell people to avoid the Soda Jerk.

Great diner atmosphere plus servings are huge. I had Beef Goulash over noodles with a side....Beyond delicious... Beef was fork tender. My partner had their Bacon wrapped meatloaf over real mashed potatoes with salad or choice of soup. We both had dessert included in the price...Homemade ice cream...Senior discount.....Tania our server very friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable and Huge menu selection.

The Soda Jerk is a 50s style diner and soda shop. The exterior is unassuming, but the inside is clean and well put together. The menu is huge and offers a great deal of variety. The food is very good; I had the chicken croquettes, and my wife had the primo panini. Our server, Cindy, was very courteous, helpful, and accommodating. I ate too much to order desert, but Ill definitely be coming back in the future.

This is a regular run of the mill diner with a 1950s theme. The food is okay, very mediocre. There is a waitress there who gets the orders wrong everytime. If you order french fries with your sandwich, she will bring you potato chips. If you ask for no onions in your omelette, she gives onions. Errors happened all three times I have eaten here and not just with my own orders. I will not be eating there again.

Fries great fresh cut fries. Roasted chicken was flavorless and tasted frozen and old. Server was so busy with no help it took about 25 mins just to get drinks. Never received applesauce before meal. Salad was delicious. But with the restaurant being so busy they definetly were not appropriately staffed to keep up with customer volune. Therefore quality of service and restaurant cleanliness were sub par.

The service was friendly and the restaurant had a neat atmosphere. We both ordered the western burger, and it was a good patty with good flavor. The burger came with barbeque sauce, but instead of the kitchen putting it on, they handed out a rather generic barbeque sauce in a little packet, much like a McDonalds style packet. It was a mediocre taste and left a bad aftertaste. I was rather disappointed.

My family had lunch there a couple days ago. The server was an understated friendly. The food was GREAT! My husband had stuffed salmon, I had spinach pie, and my daughter had a sandwich. Our meals came with a side salad- it was large and delicious. We had asked for fries before our meal, but the server admitted she forgot. We got them with the meal- but she didnt charge us. The decor was great!

Adorable themed diner near Hershey Park. I try to support local restaurants rather than large chains while on vacation and this place did not disappoint! They have the typical large diner menu which is important, especially when you have picky eaters. Service was fantastic with a wonderful local atmosphere.

We found this place when we came to Hershey to get married. We ate there twice. Great tasting comfort food, service was fast and friendly. Prices were good too! I even had left overs the next morning on my wedding day. We will definatly go back when we visit again.

Loved this place. Best food and the best prices around if your staying in Hershey. The philly cheese steak that I got here was amazing. It was so much better than the philly cheese steaks you get up north. I came back and got it again the next time I went here.

Gyro was the worst I have ever had. Meat was mushy and pita bread was not even grilled. Taco wrap was tasteless did not even have any cheese in it. Pork Chops does not even come with bread or salad. The only decent order was the cheeseburger.
