So its April 29th we have a party of ELEVEN. Reservation is 9pm. Theres a bigger party before us and understandably so they are not leaving on time. Its a 100th birthday celebration (top that) after about an hour wait, they try to seat us 11 @ a table that barely seats 7-8 then we decided to split tables. Upon second thought we realize it defeats the purpose of eating together and peace out. End up at the hibachi spot across the street. Now here is the problem; not once did anyone apologize for the hour wait and even when we decided to leave I dont remember anyone trying to even talk us down, much less apologize. I can understand their lack of control over the party before us not leaving on Time. However, that no one even approached us is beyond me it was a party of ELEVEN for crying out loud, and if I were to include my daughter make it 12. I work with customers too and Ill say this; such nonchalance reflects the quality of the food ull be getting. U decide if thats appropriate or not. I wouldnt rant if atleast one person showed genuine remorse. I swear no one did. I vaguely remember one gentleman apologizing as we walked out but I have no way of knowing if he was even addressing me. I dint taste the food but am glad I didnt have to.......The service was the worst, and this is coming from someone who NEVER complains about anything!

Rib eye steak not cooked to my liking.....I go here at least 2 to 3 times a month (for the last several months) and although I will continue because there are certain things I like (Shrimp cargot, salmon, and rib eye steak--and those excellent Georgia Peach Martinis by Bruce) Im starting to think that maybe I shouldnt order the rib eye anymore. Its good, dont get me wrong...but its never cooked to order, always over cooked. I like the team service thing, but I usually have to run someone down because my server (who is usually this caucasian girl with long dirty blonde hair who sometimes bartends) gives really mediocre customer service. I avoid her like the plague.Next time Ill just ask for anyone but her. The other servers there have actually been really great. The managers are awesome and the hostesses are really wonderful girls. Overall, I really like the food, ambiance, and drinks alot but that one person really affects my view of the customer service. She always has a smile on her face, but REFILL my drink and CHECK IN WITH ME at least ONCE during my actual meal!!

We just returned from a really fantastic sit-down dinner here. Most venues in the area are order-at-counter. This place is an actual well-decored restaurant, spacious, even a 10-seater table! Good-sized bar and live music every night, more on the jazz quartet style. We got there too early and were overly stuffed with the fantastic meal and only got to see a few minutes of the Marshall Keys Quartet but they were really top-notch quality. We had their house-specialty broiled chicken and the chicken & ribs combo-- both great. The spring roll appetizers were okay, not great, but still decent. We were nearly full between the appetizer and salads when the generous dinners arrived! We went for the box-route halfway through so we could still split the huge pineapple upside-down cake drizzled with Jim Beam bourbon and topped with a big scoop of ice cream. We couldnt even finish it, we ran out of space. Nice to see there are various other locations around the DC area, too-- a great "new" find for us.

I knew the restaurant was going to be a great experience, since I had to wait with my girlfriend for a half an hour to be seated yesterday.it was Sunday. I had a full slab of ribs with a side of their wonderful coca cola barbecue sauce. It was complemented by mashed potatoes, and the best macaroni and cheese Ive ever tasted. I had both key lime pie and Pineapple upside-down cake. Listen, its a mistake to eat all this and believe you are walking out without a smile, if you can walk at all. I recommend that if you come here, Ask for Kyle the server. He was so patient. So attentive, I would have tipped him 50 percent if I could at that time. I was so happy with his work. He looked me straight in the eyes as he took my order and he was quick. He had a conversation with me and I almost feel like I know him. So please, if u see this restaurant, run in. Ask for Kyle the server. You will not be sorry. I PROMISE.

I came here with my girlfriend, her mother, and another friend of theirs for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was about 1:30 and the place wasnt too terribly busy yet. The overall atmosphere felt a little upscale, but still casual at the same time. Our server was friendly and the service was excellent. The food was very, very good, especially the calamari that we ordered for the appetizer. The menu has a good mix of items on it. While nobody in our party tried their rotisserie chicken that theyre apparently known for, I did have the crispy chicken sandwich that was on special for the day and it was good. We were able to hang around and chat after we finished our meal and by the time we left at about 3:30, there still werent a whole lot of people in the restaurant yet. Albeit, it was a rainy Saturday afternoon...perhaps things pick up for dinner service.

We just had a terrible experience here. Id been once before and it was average, but tonight was awful. Our wait was supposed to be 20min, but that turned into 45min. Waiter messed up our appetizer order, and two main dishes. The manager was very attentive and personally brought each correction. He even had to refill our drinks. Aside from him, the waitstaff was terrible. Half way through my sandwich I bit down on something plastic! I dont know what it was. On top of all of this, the food was not very good. While trying to finish what little we wanted to eat, the waiter came by to ask if we wanted dessert. We said no and he promptly tossed the check on the table while we both still had half full plates of food. Then he never came back to get the check and we had to track someone down. We will not be going back.

1st visit was during the weekday for lunch. Everything (especially the chicken)was awesome. The wait staff, food, atmosphere was great... So I bring my family (5 adults 3 kids & 1 infant) for dinner on a Sunday night, The waitress was nice but swamped. The food however tasted totally different and not in a good way. Veggies were soggier, greasier. But my biggest complaint was the seating. If you have a party that is more than 5 people, than this may not be the place to go. The large booths are all they have and they dont sit a large party (like mine),very well. The table was too small and the big plates they serve the food on just made it so much smaller. So, in short.. It is a good place to go, but the level of service and food is not consistent so far . I will go back for lunch sooner than dinner.
