Bob Evans is the epitome of comfort food. They have the standard home cooking, down on the farm fare in addition to a growing number of special meals. The banana nut bread is always moist and melts in your mouth. The servers are usually friendly and attentive. I have never been there on a Sunday morning where I have not had to wait to be seated. Usually no longer than 10 minutes, but it is worth it. The only thing I can say that I do not like is the new small Ball jar-esque drinking glasses. Bring back the large glass. I understand that refills are free but by the time you put ice in the new ones there is only 3 or 4 good sips before I need a refill. Lastly, over the last few years we have enjoyed Thanksgiving with the fine folks working on turkey day. The turkey dinner was more than adequate and the fixins were filling. Best thing was no mess or clean up.

Todays experience was quite different but we certainly did not expect to happen we ordered French toast and bacon. The bacon was made that morning about proximately 6 hours before and was not even served hot they attempted to microwave it but by the time it got to our table it had lost its heat Effectiveness and the bacon itself was very chilly and indistinguishable and undesirable to eat just plain horrible. We kept asking for from the very beginning for sugar free syrup but the waiter Nick kept bringing us hot syrup from the back. He claimed he worked there for 2 years. He apparently left is thinking cap somewhere else that morning & his work habits for the day was elsewhere.

A few months ago my Sisters Husband got sick from eating the sausage for breakfast. He had horrible vomiting and diarrhea. Well just thinking it was a one time deal/fluke. Just yesterday me and my husband went there for breakfast my husband got the sausage and go figure he has uncontrolable vomiting and diarrhea. I would recommend never getting the sausage again for everyone not to mention the service sucked as well so good riddance bob evans YOU SUCK!!!!

For steak and eggs at breakfast, Bob Evans does not disappoint. The service varies, though. I guess it depends upon who you get as a server. As far as the quality of the food, they get it right. Rarely have I had an issue with anything Ive ordered--but when they ask "Is everything all right?" and I have a less than glowing comment, they are eager to correct the issue. The coffee is pretty good also.

Food portions were small yet the guy who sat in another booth when I was leaving looked like he had the same meal just more of it. Said something to the cashier she said sorry guessing I should have said something to the waitress but when ur hungry no time to play. oh well Dennys for now on big portions and they give AARP discount. Food is still good just not worth the money truck stop portions .

Perfectly made pancakes, hash browns, bacon, chicken pot pie, & biscuits. Hah browns were not overcooked like usual at dennys, and bacon wasnt undercooked (as is the case almost everywhere). Service was great. Staff were friendly, but unobtrusive. Value was outstanding, considering the volume.

The food was fine, with one small mistake. We tried to bring the mistake to the attention of the manager, Midori, and when she came by she was very rude and said that she "does not have time for this". If that is how the restaurant is run, then they just lost customers.

Store manager was very professional and personable when handling a waitress that was not professional. The store manager stepped in and made our experience pleasurable. Thank you Nicole. We will continue to come back to Bob Evans.

The service was good. The coffee was not very good (I can be picky with coffee). I cant vouch for everyone elses food, but the sausage and gravy was not very good- the gravy tasted like turkey gravy. The pancakes were good though.

Worst breakfast food ever. Waited 40 minutes for french toast that came out soggy. Sent them back and got pancakes instead that were equally awful and potentially frozen. Go to dennys

Only eat breakfast here so i dont know how their lunch or dinner items are but for breakfast they are great. Delicious and a good selection, best biscuits and gravy in town.
