If I could give zero stars I would. This is the second time I have visited this restaurant and the final. I ordered the Delmonico steak medium rare. It comes with 2 sides . This case I went with coliflour and coleslaw and salad. $17 And some change. Fair for a good size steak. The steak came to me looking as if it were boiled. Grey outside and slightly pink to tan in the middle. Vile would be the one word to sum it up. As I waited for my waiter to return I ate the salad before the meal, vegies and was working on the coleslaw. I have worked in the food industry and know what a microwaved steak looks like. Dull and without any or much color contrast. I did cut a bite and flavor had been extracted by the freezer to microwave to two short turns on the grill method. I explained the issue and the waiter agreed it looked as bad as it tasted. He asked if he could get anything else and decided to go with a turkey club. Cant screw that up....... I received my club and the bill. I understand that I ate the veggies and salad that was supposed to come with the "steak" so they charged me as if ordered each item ala carte. This reduced my bill from 22.00 to 21.00. for a $8 club sandwich. I am not a petty person but this was uncalled-for and was a slap in the face with what I was served. I would have at least as a manager come over and explain the extortion and reason the took a "not going to show any repentance for the failures before. I would have expected at minimum the salad to be comped but that is apparently not the case at this restaurant.I like family dinning but when the customer is taxed for poorly prepared food with out even a stop at the table,they have dropped the ball. Disappointing customer follow through. Skip it. Hit the pizza joint next door ,so much better .

Nornally i enjoy my self but today was a complete meltdown from everything I enjoyed. One the waitress tried to play me like I could not read what the menu says. Sayin i was ordering by going by the picture when it clearly says eggs with the cheesesteak wrap next to the picture of cheese steak wrapped in eggs. Then my girl omlete had green peppers and potatoes in it when she asked for neither. She had french fries but somehow had this extra stuff inside the omelete. Manager wasnt trying to be helpful but instead tried to downplay the situation. Bad service , disrespect, and disregard for my intelligence. Almost as if i couldnt read the words on the menu. I literally had to look on the menu on my phone to check then the waitress wants to try and help after she blew me off the first time when i brought it to their attention. I tried to be nice and let the first mistake slide, but after random crap in my girls food. Couldnt let it slide. Then the manager tried to say it was because they cook the food together, but no one ordered home fry potatoes nor green peppers so where would that even come from. Sadly will be my last time coming here even after i told lots of people to come. Should of just fixed it and acknowledge your mistake from the beginning. But instead you tried to act like i dont know what I was talking about. Shame on the manager, waitress and the cook. I know the cook may have been stress so i can forgive the cook. He just cooking not handeling the customers and i doubt it would of been an issue to just cook another order. So shame on the staff involved. Coffee was good though. Quality Food for a Great Price, mostly. Having been to the Diner twice now, I can post that the food we have bought has been quite quality. The mashed potatoes are homemade. The turkey appears and tastes like white turkey breast, cooked on location. The liver and onions consists of two large pieces with some sliced onions and smothered with gravy. The "limited refills" iced tea is in a large glass, and only $1.75. The dessert case contained some yummy looking cakes and pies, but we have been too full to even try. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired. TVs in 3 places I believe, for no apparent reason. The overhead radio is a bit loud. Added to this, we were seated by the kitchen, which had the washer going the whole time, wait staff going in and out, and bussers with their equipment being busy. The wait staff is ok. There is no obvious requirement as to uniforms. Some staff was dressed in a sloppy manner, some really care what they look like. The Senior Menu is definitely a good value. The rolls are delicious. Lemon for the tea is served in WEDGES, practically unheard of anymore. Overall, we will be visiting here twice a month, based on our habits. I would recommend any meal (and breakfast is served all day).

I was a bit skeptical of this restaurant when I first saw it (to no fault of their own, but every previous business that has been in that building has failed). Their luck must have changed the karma of this place because as soon as you walk in, you are greeted with delicious sights and sounds, The pies in the case, the smell of the food, it makes my mouth water just remembering it. The food has always been delicious, each time I have ordered something new. The hot wings there are great! The breakfast is large portions of deliciousness. Homey comfort food or healthy salads, they do it all. The servers are friendly and efficient, and the large spread means you arent elbow to elbow with strangers like some diners. Over all I have high hopes for this business and hope to see them always here. Quickly becoming a highlight of the town for a quick meal or family dinner.

Just ate breakfast there this morning after dropping off kids to school. Me and my brother ordered food and our drinks. I got food before my drink. My brother had to wait for corn beef hash and then on silverware. He got his hash and silverware after finally getting our drinks. Shortly after finishing eating. My brother went to bathroom. Got sick. He tried to wash hands when is was leaving the bathroom. No soap to wash hands. I started to feel sick once i started to walk. We at least made it home. Once there we split up to use bathrooms at two locations. Never again will I be eating at the dinner. Second time Ive gotten sick from them. So you can go there or go somewhere else. Its up to you. Just giving you a feel of what to expect.

We have been here several times, the first time was when they first open, experience was good. We went back many times after that, mostly for breakfast. The prices are too high and the portions kept getting smaller and smaller. The final straw was when my husband ordered the breakfast steak, as he usually does, and it was full of fat and less than half the size of what it normally was. So, he sent it back and told the waitress he wasnt paying $13 for a tiny steak full of fat and the manager came over and made excuses, claiming that the previous cook was giving dinner steaks out during breakfast and that the steak they brought the first time is all he would get unless he wanted pay the dinner steak price. Havent been back since.
