This place was one of the worst experiences Ive had at a restaurant. The menu is almost hard to read with some listed items only being served on certain days. There are also advertisements in the menu making the pages crowded with information that is worthless to you when you are trying to figure out what you want to order. The restroom was not really dirty but definitely not clean. The place looked like it could really use even a slight renovation. I ordered the Seafood Platter which was a variety of almost undercooked, fried seafood. It was not impressive just like the mashed potatoes and gravy that barely had a flavor and the "Spiced Apple Rings," whatever they really were... Everything I have listed so far is something I will usually not have a problem with at a restaurant. I would never leave a bad review about any of these things other than food quality. The reason Im complaining about everything is because I got the worst service I have ever received anywhere at this diner. I had an older woman as my server and she was extremely rude. I did not see one smile as she was interacting with my friend and I but with other customers, she was extremely nice. She set food on our table without saying a word. Once we got our main entree, she left the table and did not check on us until maybe 20 minutes later when she brought us the check. She was kind of being fake nice when she brought the check. I left a $2 tip for a $12 meal because thats how servers make their money but I will never eat at Sunnyway Diner again. If you are under 25 years old, do not go to Sunnyway Diner. They will not give you good service in my experience.

This place was a great, friendly, hometown diner. The prices are incredibly reasonable, the food was very good (but not extravagant), and I didnt leave hungry. Its a great place to meet someone, and there were tons of families eating together. If you wanted to eat there by yourself, they also have a counter with stools. I wouldnt hesitate to eat there if Im in Greencastle again.

Great service and food. We got hot turkey sandwich w/mashed potatoes and lima beans. The lima beans were a little soft and sweet which was just ok. We also got a bacon cheeseburger w/an order of fries. Super good home cooked burger on a potato roll. We will be back!

Food was great and the staff was even better - fantastic - very friendly, bvery helpful. I was also taken by the patrons and their friendliness. I was able to strike up conversations with those around me - great diner - great town!

Great diner for those who are "diner" people! Dont expect James Beard food like in NYC....totally different clientele. We never go wrong when we go there to eat..........and we never leave hungry.

Sunnyway Diner has the best food anywhere in the USA. I have travelled extensively, and this is the best home cooking anywhere. Never ate better chicken!! Keep up the good work Sunnyway.
