Un charmant et historique "dinner" du début du siècle dernier. Boxes et banquettes en bois ouvragés et beau comptoir. La nourriture plus que correcte, le personnel souriant et plaisantant a offert le dessert pour lanniversaire de mon amie.

We stopped by the Cellar Bistro in May before Memorial Day and it was not a good experience. I could go into the details, but what is important was the staff were rude, delivered the wrong meals to our table, argued with us when we pointed this out and made what should have been a pleasant dining experience into a bad one. We will never go back as there are so many better places to eat in the area.

Service, food and Jamaican stout beer...beyond excellent! We had the sauteed scallops, the mussels in a mustard, garlic cream sauce, shrimp risotto in lobster sauce and fantastic flatbread. The combination was incredible and quality was as good as anywhere we have eaten!! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience and a doggie bag for tomorrow! Bon appetit!

Never had a bad experience the staff is awesome the food is excellent had my birthday dinner here even as busy as it was they were more than accommodating. The bartender manager always goes the extra mile to make my drinks off menu overall if youre looking for a restaurant to sit down and enjoy yourself in Ellsworth this is the place to do it.

Food was fine for downeast maine, but was pricey for what it was. Service was good. Regulars at the bar were drunk and chatty. Its no Cleonice, and that makes me sad. Will go again for lack of better options in its category. Avoid the lunch, move right to dinner. Dont expect the staff to know much about wine.
