Ive had some bad experiences in my life, but none that compares to the culinary abortion I took part in, no more than a month ago, at Amigos. Im not sure what I expected, being a prototypical chain restaurant, but I certainly didnt anticipate paying money to shorten my life .Between the service, and the actual burrito, I have Amigos to thank for taking maybe the worst years I was going to have at the end of my life, away from me. If you took some trash, wrapped it up in dead animal skins, the let it sit on an apartment building roof in Phoenix, Arizona, in the middle of summer, you would have something similar, which was brought to my table to eat. As I looked around at the other patrons, I made eye contact with at least other parties that were also, unknowingly, taking part in the Culinary Abortion Orgy" that evening. That is what that night became to be called from all who ate their that evening.

I have eaten in many Mexican restaurants and this place hands down is the worst I have eaten at. It is a total dive bar; a place to go get drunk and get your butt kicked if that is what you are into. So the food resembles the place. It is total garbage poured out of a can and not even done well at that. Even a person that has absolutely no cooking skills can get stuff from their local supermarket and make better Mexican food than this. I cant describe how nasty it is. Put it this way, Taco Bell fully rocks in comparison and that isnt close to being real Mexican food. The food isnt worth eating even if they were to pay you to eat it. And you might get your butt kicked if you happen to go there on a friday or saturday night. Mexicans work cheap, try hiring one and not some dude who worked at a tire shop last week.

You know that gross college bar that you go to 45 minutes before the bars close, already intoxicated, and the only reason you went in the first place was because everyone in your group was like "Lets go to Amigos"? If you want to drink beer and smoke cigarettes while standing in a super crowded environment, youll love Amigos. Besides that, theres not really an extensive list of things to do.

really terrible. the menu isnt updated with the correct prices (unless they have an unreasonably high up charge for take out orders, which isnt mentioned online). food was cold and has tiny portions. cheese dip was thick and cold (not in a good way) and nothing had good flavor. really expensive and bad. do not reccommend.

Tried to go in for lunch on a summer Saturday afternoon. They were apparently short staffed and the dining room was closed. So we proceeded to the bar where the only server there threw a fit about having to wait on us. We heard great things and wanted to try it but had no luck :(

The bar is cool, but dont come here looking for a great Mexican meal, because the food really isnt that great. And vegetarians beware- some of their sauces have meat juices.
