Worst service imaginable... Way to long of a wait during lunch hours. First time patrons to try this resturaunt and would not suggest going here. Im sure they have great drafts and the inside looked cool, but waiting 40 min for a burger before you walk out is ridiculous. If the resturaunt was busy this wait would be understandable, but with only two other tables seated, this shouldnt happen. At the least we expected to be told by waitstaff that the food would be delayed, but this also was not the case. Managment was contact shortly after departure and was slightly rude to our comment of delayed food times and miscommunication, yet was correct to call shortly after admitting the mistake of the resturaunt. We are about 99% sure we will not return to this resturaunt, and seems a shame due to a decent reputation behind the past of their venture.

Went here about a month ago with my husband and two children. Nice atmosphere! The male waiter was ok - cant say he was friendly or rude. Besides us there was only one other table being waited on and it took quite a long time to get our food. The kids mac and cheese was from a box but they liked it well enough, even though it was on the cold side. My husband had beer and said it was really good and he liked his clam cakes. I had broccoli-cheddar-ale soup in a bread bowl. Luckily the bread bowl was very crusty because not only did they fill the bread bowl with soup (btw, it didnt hold much) they put some in the regular bowl as well, so it was sitting in it. I admit it was very tasty but way too cold for my liking. Will I go here again? Not sure.

Paddys excels at throwing a party, as long as you are not hungry. We keep going back for lack of other decent pubs, but were likely to go home and eat leftovers instead of chancing the menu again. Examples of things gone wrong over the past two years weve tried: 1. Raw hamburger served- and the waitress looked at me and said "Well, you asked for medium rare." 2. Food never arrived 3. Food arrived cold 4. Food arrived, hot, but nothing like the menu said 5. We arrived, no waiter for 20 minutes, during which time the kitchen closed- at 6pm. But- the beer is cold, and the atmosphere is great.

We had Dinner up stairs and it could have used a duster. Spider webs on the lamps and the windows needed a good cleaning. The Staff not seem to enthusiastic perhaps they are bored and expect low tips. I ordered the meatloaf which was dry and not very easy to cut into, the potatoes were warm and had very little sauce included from the meatloaf. The veggies were cold and stiff . French fries were good as well as the cole slaw. Overall not much better than a greasy spoon dinner. Very surprised because they had a packed house. My first and last visit. Saturday 2/15/2014

Good bar right downtown. Food and menu are average. Nothing spectacular. Sweet potato fries, fried pickles and burgers are good. Not a lot of square footage. Only one big table which seats 14, itll be snug. Youll be in tight quarters on the fri/sat nights. Live entertainment all the time on weekends. Beware if undercooked burgers. Twice Ive had to ask them to re-cook my medium-well burger. Staff is a mixed bag. There was a bi*** behind the bar last time I went. It got busy and she couldnt handle it. Definitely had something up her butt.

Great place to grab a drink, a bite to eat and maybe catch some live music. Pretty much exactly what a pub should be. They have lots of good beer on tap. I have only tried a little if their food, but love the Crabby Paddys and fries. Only reason I didnt give them 4 stars; the patio closes too early on Summer nights, and the space inside can feel a bit cramped when trying to enjoy the live music. They have something going on every night of the week though. So, by all means, check it out!

The best of everything! Food, service, atmosphere- its all top notch and by far my favorite spot in the area!!! Ive recommended this establishment for multiple reasons whether it be for food, music, location or environment. Not one person has been disappointed. Im drooling now just thinking about their Guinness Burger with sweet potato fries (the best in town, no one comes close)!

We enjoyed dinner here before walking to Darlings Waterfront Pavilion to see Journey, The Doobie Brothers, and Dave Mason. There were six of us and we were served quickly. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The Margaritas were pretty good too! We definitely will be frequenting this establishment!

My experience at Paddys was AWESOME! Food was great, Drinks [Shhh...] Was great, and the service was well above top notch. Odd how so few places make you feel at ease and like family. Paddys not only did both, They allowed me to experience it in the way that best impressed me and it was awesome!

Service was leaving a lot to be desired. It took far too long to get our meal. It wasnt terribly busy in there but our waitress did come by and check on his quite a few times. I ordered the cottage pie. I thought it would tasted very good. They need to get some HP Sauce up in there though!

Fast and friendly service. The Cuban sandwich was incredible. It can get very busy [which is a good thing] so expect your meal in a appropriate amount of time if its super busy. Great atmosphere, great food. I dont drink so I cant speak on that. GO TO PADDY MURPHYS.

Trivia night is a lot of fun here, their food is consistently very good, and the service has been execptional. Sometimes the live music drowns out all other sound and the acoustics of the place takes a lot away from the quality of the music

This place is AMAZING!!!! I spent 8 weeks in Maine over the summer, ate here several times. Ever time was just as good as the last. The food is out of this world! Great drinks, prices are good and the staff was on point. Highly recommend!

A fun traditional Irish pub. They offer an assortment of board games as entertainment at the tables, and have events many days of the week. A particularly popular night is Wednesday, which happens to be their trivia night!

LOVED my food! They have daily specials that are creative and lots of choices that arent "fried breaded steak potato maine blah blah". Fresh menu in an otherwise "old" pub atmosphere. Pretty clean bathrooms.

Pleasantly surprised by this pub grub, certainly better than usual. Crab cakes were excellent, just lightly fried. Mashed potatoes good too, all in all nicely done. Lighting was a little intense though.

Great atmosphere but nothing like an Irish pub. The bartender was rude to my mum, wouldnt tell us his name, and couldnt pour a decent pint. They seem to be a bit understaffed. Amazing chowder though!

Great place to hang with friends for a drink or grab some of the best sweet potato fries in the area! Check out their social media for live music and other events in conjunction with downtown Bangor!
