Had reservations for 6 adults at 6pm on a Saturday night. Very busy that night, so Im glad we called ahead. (A couple of holiday parties) We were seated prompt by a very nice hostess, and our waitress came by within a couple of minutes to introduce herself. We were waiting on the other 4 guests, so we ordered drinks and appetizers. The Salted Caramel cocktail was super tasty. The Coconut Almond Shrimp for an appetizer were cooked perfectly. The mozzarella sticks werent the best ever, but also not the worst. Waitress appeared almost immediately when the other four members of our party arrived. She was very good! Three of us ordered the maple bourbon seafood, which was a brand new special that night. The only downfall was that it contained a miniscule amount of lobster. IMHO, an entree costing $24 containing lobster should contain more lobster than only the meat from the walking legs and the smallest part of the claws. If you used the tail or both claws, it would be better. There was other seafood in the entree, and it was delicious overall. The waitress asked our opinions since it was the first night with that entree, and we shared the above with her. Two in our party had the prime rib, and another had the salmon. They all enjoyed their meals. Two of us had dessert. Chocolate cake and cheesecake. No complaints! Definitely will return.

We arrived at 11 when they opened and sat on the deck overlooking the river. This was so nice and comfortable. Our waiter seemed very confused to say it nicely. He took our drink order and came back five minutes later asking us what we had ordered. We ordered the Bloody Mary drink special as pictured on this page, only ours didnt come with the shrimp as shown. He then came back to the table and asked if we knew salmon was what we ordered. Ummm yes we did happen to catch that. Two burgers were ordered also and a chicken dish. The burgers came out something completely other than what was ordered. Chicken dish was dry and seemed to have been microwaved. During all the waiting and wrong food a tent was being set up and not secured to the ground. A gust of wind took it and it almost crashed into our brand new truck. We had to get up and help make sure it didnt fly through the the windshield as a waiter stood by saying something out a redneck show. Maybe he should have helped when he saw customers up helping. We asked for boxes for our left over food and were given dirty boxes. Lastly the waiter dropped the bill and took it and never returned to the table.... Wow thats ballsy to assume the change was the tip. I think some training for the staff is a must.

Hello again... I was in maine, and figured i have to eat maine lobster while I was there. I yelped around a bit and found this place. I was at a bar across the river and the locals advised me that i should give it a try. They said eat in the bar area, because the dinning room is slow. So i finished a couple drinks at the current place i was at tyen i headed over. I went into the bar, started with a beer and a water. I was craving fried clams too but they didnt have any as appetizer. So i ordered the meal. Let me tell you, these fried clams were amazing. They were the fat belly clams. Each bite was crunchy and earthy and amazing! Next i ordered my lobster. Got the plain steamed version, and it came with a side of fresh steamed clams and rice pilaf. Ill stsrt with the clams. These steamed ones were great. They were so fresh and salty! Next i dug into my lobster. The claws had a ton od meat and the tail was so dense it cut like a steak. It was steamed perfectly and not chewy at all. Until next time...

Bad experience for our Easter dinner:(. In a nutshell....they couldnt find our reservation; we waited 50 minutes for our meal, most of what we ordered wasnt correct (water without lemon, no side salad, wrong potatoes, no blue cheese topping for the steak, no horseradish for my meal). Waitress never came to check on us to see if we needed anything or how the food was....we didnt see her for over 30 minutes. My son ran out of his drink and wanted more but no waitress. Horrible service. I finally went in to see the manager, and even after that still no waitress! 10 more minutes goes by and we finally get the check. No apologies. They did give us $50 off our bill which was something, but I would rather have had a nice dinner. Wont be going back.

It was a perfect summer evening to enjoy the outdoor porch and patio option. The bean bag toss game is a nice touch and seems especially helpful to keep kids occupied. Everybodys food was very good. It did take a while to have our order taken and then, again, to get our food. That was hard with kids. When I asked for two extra spoons, the waiter didnt bring them until dinner was over, even though he walked past our table several times. Our waiter was quietly friendly but seemed distracted. The chefs choice vegetables were too garlicky to appeal to everyone. We had a really nice time though and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I noticed the bad reviews are all linked to slow and bad service. Thats something clear cut for the management to remedy.

My boyfriend and I decided to try a new place to eat tonight. I was not impressed. We when walked in the front door there was no line, nobody waiting. We walked up to the booth and she started to walk away talking to another employee until my boyfriend asked her to seat us. We got our table and ordered our food. We ordered stuffed mushrooms, which were good. For our meal we ordered the high tide burger and the the BBQ burger. They came with two sides each. The BBQ burger was good well, but the High Tide burger was not good. Both sides of the bun ended up soggy. The French fries must have been the bottom of the batch because they were all short pieces that were burned. It seemed like my meal was cooked and sat for a bit. We will not be going back.

The staff is excellent, menu is well done for a seafood restaurant. Having said that i would expect scallops wrapped in bacon to have the scallop cooked as well as the bacon was. Just 30 seconds longer would help with the chewy raw texture, great flavor tho and not dangerously raw just chewy. My meal however was delicious in flavor. Lobster was ice cold but cook prefect may have sat waiting on the steak to cook veggies ice cold as well. Steak great just came med not med rare. I must say i dont give bad reviews ever and i feel bad because this could have been a great meal but time management in the kitchen is McDonalds level and wont come back because of that. Truly sorry the staff is so great and they will suffer for the kitchen.

If you ask 10 people about High Tide I am sure you will get 10 different opinions....here is mine. I was there 2 days ago. I will never go back. My family and I waited 30 minutes to get a menu and water. We waited another 35 minutes before we placed our order (still no bread either - we had to ask for it). Then a whopping 40 minutes later our meal shows up and if it had been good food, all would be forgiven but the lobster was rubbery/tough and the baked potatoes were hard and cold. Im sorry but the views just do not make up for the really poor service. I have other family coming to town this weekend and they wanted to eat at High Tide but they now have made plans to eat at Timber.
