Wow! What a view and what an amazing experience. We were seated at a table overlooking the harbor and were hungry for lunch. We ordered the lobster special and split it along with a cup of lobster bisque. The soups came out first and were very good. The lobster bisque was creamy and had few, but good lobster pieces. The clam chowder was loaded and had a nice ratio of clams to potatoes. Up next was a delicious blueberry corn muffin (the waitress was super awesome and brought us an extra muffin). Following the muffins came out an ample amount of clams and muscles with butter and clam juice for dipping! The main course came next, the lobster. It was served in a pre cracked shell, making the work you needed to do much easier. It was well cooked and came out easily. Lastly, we had our dessert. It was a blueberry pie served with a sliced strawberry and a dollop of cream. The pie had a buttery crust and disappeared quickly. This is an excellent choice and we hope to come back here again!

When we came to the terrace grille, it looked like a very nice place to eat. The view outside is amazing. But you have to enjoy the view on plastic chairs and tables, meanwhile still paying a lot of money for your meals! (12$ for an appetizer!). The food was pretty good, but the portion where just too small for the money you are paying. We also ordered a glass of red wine, the wine was warm! We had to ask for ice cubes to put in a red wine... Unbelievable! Dont be fooled by the nice view of bar harbor. If you like the view, go sit in the park next to it and eat in a well reviewed restaurant.

Great view, and a wide variety of choices to choose from for lunch. The waitress was very polite. We were nervous when we only saw 3 cooks in the outside kitchen, but then realized they prepare food inside as well.
