For the past 20 years we have loved coming to this restaurant, it was always our favorite, the past two times we have visited were awful. The tomatoes in the pick a dillo were rotten, the size of the chicken dish was 1/2 the size it used to be, the fajitas meat has been cut down to strips instead of pieces, the beans are now runny, and the rice is gummy, not fresh, and it has peas in it? I dont know who is cooking now but the food has changed, and the prices went up for less food, and I will not be going again. We visited this restaurant every month for the past 20 years, but will not be going back, Im so disappointed that you cut your quality. The food is great and the service is good! some of the women here are super unfriendly. I was a regular customer and enjoy the strawberry daiquiris. One day I came in here and found a black hair in my food, so I went to send it back and the waitress proceeded to call me a liar and give me dirty looks. She was also taking about me to other waitresses, like grow up señorita. Keep in mind I am not a complainer and I work in a restaurant myself. Very disappointed in the immaturity shown, she was not even punished for treating a customer like that. I havent returned because of that.

Value. That about sums it up. Ive never ordered anything but the fajitas - huge serving and Im always taking a large box home for me for at least 1 more meal. You can feed a family of 4 on one order of fajitas, seriously. Ive noticed the service getting a little worse over the past year, but for the price, this is still a go to for us. Great place to take kids too. They kind of tuck you in the back, but you dont have to worry about bothering anyone.

I dont know if I have ever ordered anything else on your menu but the fajitas, but that is enough. You pack so much food onto those plates I always walk away with leftovers, even if I have 2 people splitting a 1 person dish. Seriously, I had my birthday here a couple years ago, 6 people, ordered 2, 2 person fajita meals, and we had 1/2 a pound of leftovers. You are impressive, and one of my favorite mexican places in the city, keep it up!

It is all true. Had dinner at El Rio Grande and the food was tasty and plentiful. Fajitas were enough for two people, I could not finish it all and took some home for another meal. Service was great, they had an excellent choice of beer and soft drinks. I dont even know about deserts, I could not eat anymore. This is a must try if you like Mexican food.

This is my favorite family friendly restaurant I always have a great experience every time I visit. The food is amazing, prices are great and very family friendly! Love the chips and salsa and even order extra cheese sauce for the chips and my food. Sooo...yummy!!! Highly recommend as a must go if your in Cincinnati, Oh area!

Best Mexican food in the area! Theyre reasonably priced with HUGE portions. Food is always fast, hot, and delicious and the staff is always friendly. My only complaint is that they dont have tortas and when asked the waiter had no idea what we were talking about lol. Its still a great restaurant though

The prices on line are way cheaper than they really are!! Ordered on line went into pick up, and was told its not their menu online.. was charged $30 more than expected. Asked to talk to the manager, was told there is nothing they could do for me.. will never go back again.

Kind of hard to see from the road, but a very worthy little Mexican restaurant compared to many in the area. They have a solid menu, with a large drink selection. If youre looking for comforting and traditional American-Mexican food, this is a great option in Newport.

My favorite Mexican restaurant. Their fajita is amazing for both quality and quantity! Sizzling sound and aroma from a hot plate make you imagine, and your wish is not betrayed. Also, leftover is enough to keep you occupied for another dinner...

Food was mediocre. Our server didnt pay much attention to us. Then my Fiancé had a long black hair in his taco bowl salad actually cooked in his chicken and they acted as if we just put it there. It was overall a terrible experience

This is one of the best American-Mexican place to go when you want something bad for you. Most of the items are covered with cheese or cheese filled, not saying that is a bad thing! Huge portions at a good price.

Great food, but our waitress was horrible. She forgot our silverware at first. Then didnt come back to give us any refills. We actually had to walk up to the center just to get a refill. But the food was great.

Ive been visiting this location for 18 years which should tell you something. Consistent quality food. Watch out though because it typically comes out of the kitchen at what seems to be 300 degrees ;-)

Theres typically a short wait for a table but its completely worth it. The foot it incredible and fresh with large portions and reasonable prices. Friendly attentive service. Highly recommend.

Very good authentic Mexican food. This is coming from someone who grew up in San Diego surrounded by great Mexican food! Service was great too! They give you very generous portions as well!
