My husband and I come here often, and we both agree that this place serves up the most authentic and unique Mexican cuisine in the area. We have both done lots of travelling in Latin America, and this is the only place Ive ever been to that has food which tastes like you are actually in the country where it originates. Instead of the typical greasy, processed Mexican dishes that you find at most places, Mayas makes things from scratch. Their margaritas are made from actual fruit and not a pre-made mix, their salsa is flavorful (and not soupy like many places) , and they use corn tortillas instead of the typical white, bland ones. They offer several unique options as well, and you can tell they put a lot of care into the menu. The service is not the quickest, but if you have time for a slow-paced, home cooked meal with a very friendly staff and owner- I definitely recommend! Its in a bit of an odd location, but once you find it you will want to keep coming back! A hidden jewel!

The owner was very rude. not only to my and my family but also to others in the restaurant. He made one of his employs cry becasue they didnt have a green sauce, when in truth it was his own fault. The food was tasteless. And very over priced for when you got.

Will NEVER go back.......dont waste your money. I try to support independent local nonchain family run businesses when I can.... Sooo disappointed! My bill was tripled what it shouldve been...they pretend not to understand when you ask about it

Good food. I dont remember what it was called but it was some danged good chicken and cooked perfectly. Chips and salsa were excellent as well. This place isnt the biggest restaurant in town but it is big on flavor.

Love this place, one of our favorite go-to restaurants! Chips are fresh and served warm, margaritas are excellent and the fajitas are amazing! Owner always takes good care of us and treats us like friends.
