This is one of my favorite mexican restaurants. The chips and Salsa alone are worth going for I have been tempted to go there get a tall Dos Equis Amber beer or 2 and chips and salsa (free) and leave a monster tip to cover the expenses.. however I am usually a bad goy and get the Chori-Queso some fajitas, or better yet.. the Burrito El Barzon... Let me cover that for a second... the Burrito El Barzon is a masterpiece of dead animal flesh. You have dead chicken, dead pig (chorizo), dead cow (steak), dead shrimp... put it in a burrito with peppers and onions etc... and smothered with what I refer to as chimichanga sauce all over it... and pineapple chunks. It has everything your heart desires... and the thing is a beastly size... I frequently split it with my wife... and Im not a slip of a man. They have pitchers of margarita as well... inexpensive and pretty decent. I have been here probably 40 or so times. Everyone I have introduced to it (probably 20 people or so) go back without me... if that isnt an endorsement I dont know what is...

One of one best, if not the best Mexican restaurant Ive been in the area. Ive been going there now for about five years now and what was average at first has turned out excellent overall. The service has improved dramatically compared to a few years ago and the dishes are consistently made and delicious. Just a few years ago, my wife and I could go on a Saturday evening for dinner and easily get seats. Now, theyve gotten so much better, that their popularity has become crowds waiting to be seated and has become well worth the wait. If youve never eaten there, you need to experience this treat. If youve been there and was disappointed from a previous experience, I suggest trying this restaurant again, you wont be disappointed.

The famous burrito was amazing. My husband really enjoyed the chicken tamale. However, the service was kind of slow, the men brought us salsa that was spicy without offering to get our drinks. Then we ordered an everything came out pretty quick once we were able to order. I dont think they sell many salads though check your date on your ranch they gave us a packet that was 5 months out dated. Now I am all about hanging on to expired product within reason but 5 months with something with milk and egg I think not. But the waitress was nice and took the salads off out bill. Overall it was okay, the food was good.

Best Mexican food I ever had in my life. I had the Seafood Burrito, and the scallops were the most tender Id ever encountered. Strawberry Daiquri wasnt too sweet at all. My boyfriend had the Steak Fundido, and the chorizo on it was so succulent. This was our first time, and were definitely coming back.

This little gem from Mexico is amazing! The food is outstanding and the service is even better. The sampler appetizer is less than $10 and could be a meal all in itself! Very good and worth going to anytime! Everything is fresh and delicious!!! A true five star stop. Very cozy and clean.

Excellent food and even better service. Super friendly and helpful staff, even when they were incredibly busy with (of course) a Cinco-de-Mayo crowd (including us, obviously). I found that every good thing Ive heard about El Jinete is true. Well be back there soon.

Ok... This place was off the CHIIIIIZZZZAAAANNNNEEEE!!! Got the full release and was absolutely awesome! Chicken and Shrimp fajitas will make your weiny chub up.. I highly reccomend this place if your wanting to grub out.. They hook you up like its your last supper

We have yet to find a Mexican Restaurant nearly as good as our previous city (El Paso, TX) where every corner had a Mexican Restaurant. We have found 1-3 good ones, but this one is not very good at all.
