I found this restaurant via Yelp while in Alpharetta on business. The meal was very good at reasonable prices, but the outstanding part of dinner was the guacamole. I am a huge fan of guac and this was among the best. Huge chunks of avocado and very fresh cilantro indicates it was definitely made in-house. The complimentary chips & salsa were also very good. For my entree, I had the Burrito Mexicano with chicken which is accompanied by rice & beans. The burrito was good although the chicken itself was a bit bland. The rice was standard, but the beans were better than average. The service was very friendly without being overbearing. One note, this is a standard Mexican restaurant menu. You could photocopy the menu and probably find the same thing in all 50 states. That being said, the food was well prepared and delicious. Being from out of town & hungry, I couldnt have been happier.

I brought my friend here from out of town. After being so excited and telling how great their food and drinks were. I ordered a strawberry margarita and he got the same but a daquri. I am 25. And he is 22. The manager came to the table to check his ID due to age and it was out of state. Im in the service industry so I understand. Upon arriving at the table he asked to see my friends license my friend gave it to him. He looked at it for all of two seconds and just said "no this wont work for us" and walked away no explanation. I was so embarrassed the manager was extremely rude. Didnt even give me a chance to explain he was from out of state. I will never go to this location agian. If I could give zero stars I would. So ridiculous.

First I want to preference that I am from Texas. I eat tex-mex once or twice a week. The Margaritas are world class and the reason for my high stars. I have drank 10s of thousands of margaritas and these are top three. I had house with tres generaciones and grand mariner. I was shocked nobody was chugging these down. Not sure the GA people know what they have. Not a big fan of the salsa. I am use to chunky salsa. I got Fajitas because that is what i get. The chicken is not so good the beef is spot on. The big issue though is the store bought tortillas! There is no need for that. It cost very little to either make them or get the machine. It makes a huge difference. I would come again to drink but probably not eat.

Best Mexican Restaurant in ATL. typical Mexican fair at a higher quality level, with additional house specialties make this a fine restaurant for lunch or dinner. For lunch goers I recommend getting in around 11:30 or after 2:00 or it becomes hard to find a seat without waiting, and on Fridays this is one of the hardest places to get into at prime time lunch or dinner. The staff is a mixture of long time veterans who will remember your favorites and pleasant new members always bringing excellent service. Hope you enjoy and try the Steak Burrito a La Parrilla it is awesome, as well as the Monterey Chicken salad with Mango Dressing. By far my two favorite menu items.

Ive always had a good experience here; I say good, not great because in terms of the food, its pretty standard-issue Mexican, your basic combo plates, some seafood and decent fajitas. The chicken enchiladas are always good, not the salsa verde youll see in Acapulco, but then, youre in Alpharetta, not Acapulco. Service is friendly enough ("hey, amigo") and it must be some kind of state law that requires all Mexican restaurants to push the cheese dip because that hustle never ends, but hey, theyre just looking to up the check average. All in all, a good place to grab a beer and a burrito if youre in the area. You may even want to try the cheese dip....amigo.

The service by bartenders and wait staff at the Alpharetta location exceeds all other locations. The new manager, Patrice, understands the importance of greeting the customer and making sure your service is on point. She is friendly and takes the time to check in with you to ask how life is going. Several weeks ago a young woman named Dennise was filling in at the bar, which gave me a chance to talk with her. Had she not been assigned to the bar, I would have never known what a special person she is. She is bright, smart and a hard worker. A good job by all at the Alpharetta La Parrilla.

I had lunch at your restaurant today and with the current climate after an election I was having a discussion with a co-worker. We were being serviced by Gabriela - #267. Apparently she was unhappy with our topic and felt she had the latitude to interject and to pass judgement on my right as a citizen to vote how I believed. She not only was she out of line and unkind she felt the need to further insult me by saying that I looked "mean". My co-workers and I frequent your restaurant often since we are so close. I guess it is time to find a new place to eat lunch.

I have frequented La Parrilla located on N. Main St. in Alpharetta, and twice the bartender has referred to myself and other women who have had dinner at the bar as "Honey" and "Baby". I find this very inappropriate and disrespectful. My date just about fell off his chair when this was said to myself and other ladies at the bar. Other than that, the food and margaritas are very good. Please talk to this person though, and advise him to not call a lady honey or baby anymore.

The staff was very friendly but that couldnt overcome the poor food quality. The salsa, every Mexican restaurants first impression, tasted like it came out of a can and was made from ketchup. My taco meat had no taste and the consistency of dog food. The steak in my wifes nachos had a strange spongy consistency and a taste to match. They have a great bar... which makes sense. Ill eat just about anything when Im drunk. We should have just eaten our money instead.

Very mixed results here. Drinks are overpriced. Carnitas are poor quality meat. That being said, I havent found much in the way of great carnitas in this town. I had awful, rude service last time there. I suggest you not go there to watch a sports event. I was halfway through my meal at the bar and my game was changed for someone who just walked in. When I complained, I was told they only had three feeds. wth? The hostesses are pleasant and do a good job.
