Ill be honest, I was not impressed. Granted, I take my breakfast very seriously, so its difficult sometimes to make me happy. To start with, the service. I read reviews ahead of time, and actually delayed going right after they opened due to some of the previous complaints about service. I must say that the speed of service wasnt very good. Granted, our server had a large table, had to split a check like 10-ways for a 8-person table, etc. AND, I will give him major props for sending other wait staff to our table while he was dealing with that (normally, without prior expectations, would have scored major points). So, take that for what it is. As for the food, this is really where the disappointment came in. I was there with my three kids, each of which ordered either pancakes or waffles. I ordered their biscuits and gravy skillet with just scrambled eggs. After looking at what came out, the skillet should have been a "toss-together right before it leaves the kitchen" sort of thing. Instead, Im afraid that it was probably put together first. The gravy had been sitting under a warmer and had formed a skin. Not only that, but the taste was not great. There was absolutely no flavor to the gravy. Then, for a restaurant with the word "Egg" in its name, you would think that they would be able to scramble two eggs and not make them rubbery! Im sorry, but it was just not up to par. I tried the kids pancakes too, they were just okay, nothing to write home about. The kids liked it, but I must say that I will probably not be going back. If you are in the area and want a good breakfast, then go over to Norton Commons and go to Verbena Cafe, much better food can be found there at just about the same price.

Ordered a to go order on Sunday and went to pick it up and it was a cluster inside. They handed us our bags and we paid and walked out. Went home to find out two of our meals were missing. We called the restaurant and no one answered until the 5th time. After someone finally answered, I explained that we were missing two meals and wanted to know if we paid for them or not bc at this point we were going to go somewhere else. They kept passing the phone around to different employees none of which were helpful. After 15 minutes on the phone, the manager said oh "Yeah, you paid for the food and the boxes are sitting back here. Do you still want it?" ...very weird response. Since we lived close and already paid we just went ahead and got it. But lets just say I will never be back again. The first time I went, we sat inside and food took 45 minutes with empty tables around.

The experience we had at the Zeggz on Chamberlain lane this morning will be the reason we will never go their again. All we had was a simple to-go order that took over 45 minutes, which we understood they were busy. What I do not understand is the so called mangers response when we explained how long we have been waiting, "yeah, well I still have five more in the back", clearly could not have cared less about us as customers. Which is fine because there is an even better breakfast place called Verbenas in Norton Commons, which is also close to our house, and they do care about their customer. As a family business owner myself, I would be embarrassed if I had a staff that represented my company the way that Zeggz does. Do yourself a favor, start your morning out on a positive note and go to breakfast else where.

I ordered my food to go and I was in a little bit of a rush but I didnt expect for it to take 30 minutes for an omelet and potatoes. They did have a gluten-free option for toast which I appreciated. There seemd to be only one server and two cooks. I arrived three minutes after they opened so I expected the service to be a little bit more prompt. I would like to come back in hopes that maybe they were just short staffed and Im hoping for a better experience but the food was okay and the menu seemed promising. Theyre tucked away but theyre located across the street from the Norton Brownsboro Hospital, adjacent to Lowes.

The food here is good but the service is always a mess. Most of the time the workers do not even acknowledge that you walked in. Only after several people have seen you and walked by do they say anything. I dont know if they are under staffed or what but they cant seem to get it together. And getting something to go is a task. They have online ordering but often mess up the time or the order. I think everyone needs more training. Its sad because the food has gotten better since they first opened

First time..everyone raved about how good the good was.....NOT!!!! We went early (8:30 am) to make sure we didnt wait. Walked right in and seated. Server Amy, was pleasant and took out order. Thirty five minutes later, cold Eggs Benedict for my husband and I ordered the skillet. Eggs over done, sausage gravy cold. Needless to say we were underwelmed and would NOT recommend a return for us or anyone else.....by the way server never asked manager to come to our table to make things right.

To go orders take 45 mins or longer, the only smiling face is the host, mangers are beyond rude. Go to verbena in norton commons where the staff is lovely and the place is ran correctly. Note to zeggs manager, if you are personally going to hand me my food after a 50 min wait, please make sure the food is hot, i do not like cold eggs. A good suggestion would be to make this fast casual as zeggs is in Holiday Manor.

I will not be coming back. This is the third time Ive been to this location since it opened and Everytime Ive been theyve been "understaffed". We had empty cups the whole time we were there, no napkins, or silverware, and could never find a server to give us any attention. The food was good but took over an hour to come out from the time we ordered.

We are on our way back to ohio from our daughter in law graduation from Louisville. My son found zeggz online. We did have to wait a bit to get in. But... it was worth it. Food was awesome. Waitress was great. And the manager was really awesome. I recommend this to anyone. Our experience here was great .

Great price for brunch! We had a wonderful experience with the great staff of Zeggz. We were not super impressed with the food but we will definitely go back for the staff! We moved tables probably 3 times because our party grew in size, and the wait staff was so very accommodating and patient with us!

Great concept. Food was delicious. Staff was very courteous. Wait was no where near as long as the competition. Pricing was very reasonable as well. I will definitley be back with whole family. Orange juice and coffee were delicious too! (Middletown location)
