Breakfast is my favorite meal. That said, I ordered a ham and cheese skillet and the only thing to save this dish was the ham, it was delicious. Other than that, it looked like a childs portion. I ordered my eggs over easy, a feat that any novice cook should be able to do in his/her sleep, but mine were solid yolk. Not even a little runny. Ive traveled to every state but 3 and eaten in all of them... this was easiest the wort breakfast dish Ive ever paid for. Im sure that ham would be good on its own though.

Spouse had chicken meal in the restaurant a few days ago and love it. So, today, June 17, 2014, we decide to do the carry out chicken meal. Not so good, small price for very small chicken. I have actually seen larger Cornish hens. The potatoes were cooked just long enough to allow them to be mashed. Several hard pieces and the wheat rolls were not fresh. They were hard. So I have decided we will only dine in with Richards and avoid the carry out all together.

My husband and I went there today.. Chicken was overcooked where it was dry and skin was about burned. The seasoned fries and roll was good. In my salad I had to pick out rotten pieces of lettuce. The whole restaurant is filthy. Walls, windows, floors, restrooms and I can not imagine what the kitchen looks like. Will not go back. Too bad because in the past used to be a top notch restaurant! Ive been eating here for years and tonight it was The worst meal Ive ever gotten their waitress for a new or didnt like her job. Someone had defecated and left the depends diaper in the mens bathroom the counter for the sink or soaking with water for an oversize the floor was wet I almost fell they didnt just got our food charges more than we spent versus really bad tonight I will call corporate office tomorrow

Have eaten here for years dont know what has happened. Not enough wait staff! Over 15 minutes to order another 20 to get breakfast! Had to send it back it was cold! Had to flag someone down to get coffee only to have the creamer bad! Had to get up and find someone to bring me new coffee! Wont be back that is for sure!!!

Read some bad reviews and I suppose there are always "off days", but their fried chicken was excellent. Did a couple huge carry-outs in the past and no disappointments there. Great prices and quality. Very friendly staff. I miss their display case of pies, though. This is a regular stop for us, so will be back again.

I was greeted by a friendly staff member when I walked in. My server was helpful and friendly. Fried chicken was very good although it was the smallest wing that I had ever seen. The salad bar is small but has the perfect combination of items to make a tasty salad. I will be back!

Food was decent but the prices reflect the quality. Good down home atmosphere, nice and quite. Our server could have been more attentive to our needs. I had the smothered chicken and it was, like I said, decent. Next time I will sit in a different servers section though.

Been coming here for the last two years and can say this is the best breakfast place. Great coffee at only a dollar. The waiters and waitresses work tirelessly to make sure your cup is always filled. Support a small local business instead of going to IHOP.

Odd to give 3 stars and say I go every week. The waitresses are very friendly and do good work. To food is passable, but very inexpensive. WE come because of service, price and they are the only place like them that is open at 5:50am.
