There service is terrible. I dont think I have ever been called a liar by a business but New China feels that it is ok to disrespect their customers. I placed an order for crab ragoon but when I got home found out that they gave me some kind of wong tons instead. I called to let them know that I was on my way back to get the right order and that if there is a difference in price I didnt mind paying the difference. When I called the woman was rude and insisted that they did not get the order wrong and that I was a liar. I know that the situation is minor but as a person who works with the public and believes in good customer service I found this treatment to be unbelievable. It is a shame because I was a loyal customer for 5 years.

Most chinese food places are roughly the same. But I have driven out of my way to order from this place. I have been there 6-7 times and the service is always great. Im not sure what they are doing differently, but their steamed rice tastes better than other chinese restaurants in the area. It actually has flavor. I took off one star because out of several times ordering the same shrimp dish, one time the shrimp tasted a little "off" like it wast fresh and I couldnt finish the meal. Ive eat there since and it was fine. If you look through the reviews, nobody is complaining about the food. There is only one negative complaint from miscommunication. If you are looking for chinese food, definitely give this place a try.

A friend introduced me to this place at the beginning of the year and have been going back at least once a month since. This quaint little place is ran by an incredibly sweet young couple who always greets me with a smile. The food is outstanding and surprisingly not too oily for Chinese. Im finding it hard to believe this has one poor review. After reading it, I can only come to one conclusion: Either this person likes to complain or theyre reviewing the wrong restaurant. No other Chinese restaurant Ive tried in Louisville compares.

We are new to this area and were looking for a good Chinese Carry out place. We were not disappointed here. The employee (female) that I dealt with was nice, helpful, easy to understand and cheerful. The prices were very reasonable. We had 2 egg rolls. A qt of Veggie Fried Rice, and a quart of soup for around $12.00. The food was great and not overly salty ( as some places are) . We will be back.

This is very typical Chinese takeout. Dragon River Express doesnt open until 1130 so I figured I would give this a shot. Friendly service inside, great prices but not what I was looking for. In Louisville I have found very few Chinese takeout places that do not taste like this. Nothing wrong with the business, just nothing impressive either.

Best $5 meal value in town! I just had General Tso chicken meal with bowl of Egg Drop soup, fried rice and fortune cookie for $4.95. Great tasting! Good value for what you get! Thanks New China!
