Last night, we went to El Mazatlan for dinner. It was 6:30 on a Saturday night, something we normally never do. We went in and saw it was packed, but they seated us right away... next to a HUGE party of 25-30 people. My husband wanted to leave, but I reminded him of how efficient their service normally is. I was right-- youd never have known that nearly every table in the place was full. Orders were taken quickly, drinks never ran dry, and food was out in a jiffy. (And as always, it was great!) We were not rushed, but our plates were cleared and the bill delivered without asking. It is like this every time we go there. Why cant all restaurants be this way? They have it down to a fine art if other restaurateurs want to ask them....

Yum. Driving through town. Found a review and stopped. So good. In a strip mall, then you walk inside and very nicely decorated and quite large. Service was great. Food amazing, real Mexican not Tex-mex. We got carnitas and this burrito (first choice under burrito on menu-forget name) that has pork, beef, shrimp, chorizo, broccoli, pineapple and cilantro that was chopped small and stir fried with great sauce. Perfect blend of spicy with touch of sweet. Just such a pleasent surprise to have such an unexpected amazing meal. Eat there- so good!

This place is great! I eat here 3 or 4 times a week. The employees here are like family to me. Just 2 days ago my wife and I ate lunch here on our 36th wedding anniversary, after I shared that info with our waitress she brought out a desert that they normally give you for your birthday, but ours was personalized with "Happy 36th Anniversary" written on the plate with chocolate syrup. If I could I would share the pic with you. I LOVE this place!

The only Mexican restaurant to eat at in Bowling Green. You will be greeted at the door like you are long lost family. The food is well prepared and delivered to your table hot. The wait staff makes sure you have everything you need, and is very courteous. The dishes are generous in size with good prices. If you want Mexican in the Bowling Green area, this is the right restaurant to visit.

Food is great and service is insanely fast. Its always very clean and nicely lit. I have been in training for my job and go to bowling green for a week at a time once or twice a month. I def make it a point to eat here during my visits at least once sometimes twice! Love it and Im gonna miss when my training is over. Gonna have to make special trips to bg!

Was here on business and decided to give El Mazatlan a try. Absolutely the best Mexican place I have been to other than in Mexico itself. I was seated immediately by extremely friendly and efficient waiters. Drinks never ran dry, the place was very clean and although they were fairly busy I had my food in FOUR MINUTES! Would HIGHLY recommend this place.

The moment I walked into this restaurant I began speaking Spanish. The sound of the rushing waters from the waterfall soothed my soul. Were visiting from Nashville and I didnt know that Mexico was North of Nashville. Maria hernandez was our waitress, but to me, she was more than a waitress, she was truly mi Amiga. I was in town picking my daughter up from camp at WKU. Sooooo glad we stopped in! The service was amazing and even my non-menu item was exactly what I wanted and no one gave me attitude for asking for something special. The sangria margarita was outstanding and the food was delicious!

Looks nice inside, however one of the most expensive Mexican restaurants and the food wasnt that great. We probably wont go back due to so many other nice places near by that the food taste better and more affordable.

Love it here. By far the best Mexican restaurant in BG. Service is excellent and friendly. Get the chorizo queso dip and add grilled fresh jalapenos to it. Steak tacos are great. Prices are excellent as well.

If youre looking for Mexican cuisine in Bowling Green, Kentucky, look no further. Staff are very attentive, the food is great, and is very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I have been there 4 times and 3 of the 4 times I have had slow service. They just seem disorganized. Food is great and the drinks are fantastic. Best time for the best service is Sunday afternioons.
