What a waste of $100! When you can get an outside dinner table at 7pm in a bigger city with no reservations, that should be red flag #1. It took 2 of us a half hour to even get our order in, and just shy of 2 hours for dinner. My boyfriend and I dined this past Sunday evening. We had no apps, 2 house salads, the only pasta dish available (Pasta Margherita), Bistro Steak Mid Rare, 1 glass of wine, 2 "Moscow Mules," and a bottle of water. Here it goes on each item... House Salad: Great salad! Super fresh, yummy croutons. Only drawback to this was the Ranch dressing, which tasted more like a zesty Parmesan Caesar. I was a fan, although it wasnt what I expected. My boyfriend, not so much. Pasta Margherita: Flavorless and cold, like they didnt salt the pasta water. Had been sitting so long that the sauce absorbed into the pasta and become mushy. (We think they overcooked and recooked his steak, and just kept my pasta in the window in the mean time.) The blobs of mozzarella cheese were just that, blobs. Awkward to chew. And to boot, the waiter forgot my grilled chicken and never checked back after food was delivered so that I could mention it. Bistro Steak: Beautiful to look at, not so much after cutting. Supposed to be mid-rare, but ended up well done and grey on one side, and rare and bloody on the other. I dont understand how that happens at a GRILL RESTAURANT! (Ive been in Fine Dining Food and Beverage for over 10 years.) The fries that accompanied the dish tasted like they were from the day before and reheated. Wine and Mules: The wine was fresh and tasted like it had just been opened. Sometimes by the glass wines are hard because they go bad so quickly after opening. They had a couple different "mule" drinks on the menu (Mayan and pomegranate), but I just wanted a classic one with Vodka and lime. It tasted like sour mix and ginger beer :/ But it wasnt too bad, because I had two ;) And about the water. Once we finally got our glasses of ice water, we found out quickly that they were just undrinkable! We had been out at some other restaurants and had ice water, all of which tasted just fine. My thought is they somehow make yucky water so they can sell you a $3 bottle of VOSS. Oh well, I was thirsty and it was the best $3 Ive ever spent! Just a touch on service...Carlos was nice, but very inattentive. Again, he was not available when I was missing my chicken. He didnt check back to check on the temperature of the steak. He also could have sold another round of drinks if he would have just stopped by to ask. And waiting to get our bill and then waiting to pay was ridiculous. Good thing we were fairly relaxed and on vacation. Im usually fairly impatient. Overall, dont waste your money here. I was expecting an amazing grilled dining experience and Weber Grill just did not deliver. **We dined at Hard Rock on Saturday night, and it was FABULOUS! Food, drinks, service, everything! TOP NOTCH! If you want to get what you pay for, I suggest going to Hard Rock. Get the salmon, its to die for! Ask for Sunny, he great!

Had dinner here for the first time on March 12, 2016. Called the day before and made reservations, which was a good thing since there was a basketball thing going on and they were booked solid! Highly recommend making a reservation. We had the bruschetta and onion curls for starters. Both were well prepared and very good. Bruschetta bread was toasty but not break-a-tooth crisp. Onion curls were thin and crispy. The bread they bring to the table is also very good. We all had different dishes as follows: Hubby (who doesnt often eat steak) had the BBQ Brisket. It was tender, flavorful and with just enough bbq sauce to add a tang, but not hide the flavor of the meat. Two thumbs up from him! My daughter had the Delmonico Ribeye. It was cooked perfectly and was generous in size. After we all sampled a bite, a few of us wished we had ordered that instead as it was fantastic! The garlic mashed potatoes were also a hit. Daughters boyfriend ordered the Prime Kettleburger and said it was out of this world! It looked very juicy and was also a generous serving. Last but not least, I ordered the Bistro Steak, which is a "striploin", a cut of beef I had not heard of before. I am the real steak lover in the bunch and thought I would try something new. Really wish I had gone for the ribeye! My steak was ok, though the portion was on the small side, compared to all the others servings. The meat was cooked as ordered, and was....ok. To be honest, I didnt find it to be any different than a steak I might order at Texas Roadhouse. It came with parmesan herb fries which were, unfortunately, on the cold side. For dessert we ordered a couple of things and shared: Smores Molten Chocolate Cake - heavenly!! Triple Chocolate Bundt Cake - out of this world (my personal favorite) Decadent Chocolate Brownie Sundae - also very good but not anything particularly special. The waitress was friendly, efficient and professional. Quick with the refills on drinks, and checked back just often enough. All in all it was a very nice dining experience. Would come back again but would skip the Bistro Steak.

Working downtown, I used to be a frequent lunch visitor for years. One of my favorites on the menu was their beef brisket platter which was excellent and reminded me of the BBQ I grew up with in Texas as a kid - firm, lean, and very tasty. Something has happened the last few years but I cant explain it. A friend took me there for my b-day lunch and of course I ordered the beef brisket. Unfortunately it wasnt cooked all the way through and it was fatty. I let our server know and he brought out a replacement. It was the same - not cooked all the way through and fatty. I asked to speak with the manager who said that this is the way brisket is. I let him know that the brisket I had had there multiple times over the previous 8-9 years had been nice and lean and tasted terrific. To his credit, he did not charge for that part of the meal but unfortunately I left hungry. Chalking it off to just a random bad experience, I waited a few months before I went back. Unfortunately I had a very similar experience. Its now been a little over a year since that experience so thought Id try them out again. Unfortunately, same result. I admit the pretzel rolls are terrific and they do have other good things on the menu but something has changed with the way they purchase and prepare their beef brisket. I guess with the consistent turnover in management in the restaurant biz, current management is just not aware of how good that dish used to be and how they used to prepare it. Ill try them again at some point but not yet.

Ive been to the Weber Grill before and had a lovely experience and it was after the MotoGP races at the speedway. This year we took a friend with us and raved about the restaurant and the food. Because our friend did not have sleeves we were banished to the outdoor seating. It was hot out people! We went before going to the flat track races at the fairgrounds, so it was fairly early and not crowded yet. Now the kicker was, I (a female) was wearing a tank top. His was a t-shirt, but sleeveless. This was a "biker weekend". With all the races going on, all weekend, you are bound to have bikerish looking people who want a wonderful meal. The outside seating area isnt THAT big. I feel an exception should have been made. I saw nothing of a dress code in the publications that I read, and I even called for reservations. Now, that being said, our waiter was awesome, our food was awesome. Will probably go back again next year when we go to the MotoGP and Flat track races.
