If you know south village , then you know the wooden nickel. I frequently stop in to have a beer after work and dinner when Im to tired to cook. The place is small but the heart of this dive bar is unmatched by anyone. Including the other two local establishments within blocks of one another. Bartender Cindi is an awesome woman and an even better philosopher not to mention she can probably beat the breaks off of most people on the dart board or the pool table. Stop by on Sunday ,Billards tourney every Sunday at 6:30, 1,2,3 place wins the evening donation pool.

We are from ohio and we were in Indiana for work. We were looking for a place to.throw darts and found the Wooden Nickle. Had a wonderful time with everyone we met there. We will be back some day for sure!!!!

I went there and had the best cheese burger and cheese friese could have music playing non stop and advertise a lil better its hard to find the place thought bye the out side was a house
