Being Im not Vietnamese, I wouldnt necessarily know if Saigon is truly authentic or not, but the food is different from any other Asian cuisine Ive encountered, and I eat all kinds(ie..Thai, Chinese, Japanese)... Saigon is Vietnamese, and their Hu Tieu soup is phenomenal!!! Just because the food is pre cooked, which makes delivery to your table crazy fast, should not be so frowned upon(see another review below on the food coming out in 2 mins....really?...who would complain about fast?...seriously you must also have a problem with buffets as well then!!!). Yes...Im sure they have big pans of the individual meats and rice and soup broth in the back, where all they have to do is throw together what ever combo you requested...I call that efficient. Saigon has been a downtown business persons lunch staple for years. We professionals go there because it IS fast, it tastes fresh and delicious, and the family owned business is run very efficiently and kindly. Im always greeted with a smile, and I am always seated and served water right away. They pride themselves on speed obviously to help keep the busy lunch flow going, so were not late back to our own jobs. It may not be for everyone, but if you like feeling like you have visited somewhere out of this country for 30 mins someday, and want to enjoy food that does not taste like you just ate Panda Express...then Saigon is an interesting treat. Prices are slightly higher than I would expect, but I happily pay for my soup addiction there..:)

I finally tried Little Saigon last night for the first time. I have always loved Vietnamese food and get it whenever I can. Im not sure why I had not tried out the Little version until now. Man oh man am I glad I did! The service, atmosphere, and cleanliness are top notch. As far as quality and taste of food... they absolutely blew me away! This is the best stuff I have ever had. I had a bbq pork noodle bowl w/egg roll and the spring rolls. Absolutely amazing!!! My business partner had the curry chicken and it was also very, very good. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with Little Saigon. It WILL BE my go to place in the future for Vietnamese food. I had an in depth conversation with the manager Rose and thoroughly enjoyed hearing the history of the business. She does an excellent job of representing the company. Of course she is the owners daughter so I suppose this should be expected. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed my first visit to Little Saigon! Great job guys. You have earned a new customer!

I came to this place based on a new customers advice. Well that was a mistake, if I could give negative stars theyd get a negative 5. I mean this was not a good place to dine. I ordered Korean beef Short ribs, in they were completely not edible. It was as if chewing gum was being chewed. Some pieces where warm, cold and just not good. The rice was not good either, it was placed in a mold but clearly just dumped on the plate, with excess rice they didnt remove to showcase the presentation they were trying to achieve. All together for 27 bucks I couldve made my own short ribs at home, that wouldve been tender for sure. The short ribs came with a plate consisting of 3 lettuce pieces, big slice of tomato and 2 cucumber. All of which was completely unnecessary and didnt go with the entree selected. These people arent good in customer service or cooking. One time stop and never returning or recommending this place. Save your money and eat at home or find another place to dine.

If i could give less stars i would. Yesterday myself and my family were craving some good pho. My mom had brought her own food as she is allergic to some ingredients wich is fine. We were a total of 5 people ordering pho. The OWNER told my mom that she had to eat her food outside. That other foods from outside were not permitted. I understand that they have their "policies".my mom proceed to leave and eat her food in the car. We stayed and ate our food. Later someone brought a bday cake. The cake stayed and the owner told them nothing. At this point it was clear. It was not about the policies it had to be something personal she had against us. On sundays we would as a family go there and enjoy great food. This time was diffrent. We had not even nearly finished her food when the owner asks if we need a to go box. With this mistreatment me and my family will no longer come. I have no other words to say how embarassed and mistreated we felt.

This used to be my favorite place to eat Vietnamese food. But recently they have been cutting back on the quantity and quality of the ingredients and it shows. My favorite dish #49 with Spring Roll has a reduced amount of meat, chicken sliced thinner, more noodles and less lettuce (iceberg?). My spring roll has a reduced amount of meat, hardly any mint and the shimp appeared to be sliced in half. The amount of noodles made it seem like I was eating a noodle eggroll. Ive been to other Vietnamese resturants and they are much better with their ingredients. Im hoping the management wakes up and ups the quality to where it was.

Food was a mixture of ice cold noodles with lukewarm ones. I informed the hostess who asked how I liked my meal, but by the time Id left, she still hadnt informed the cook, as promised. No water refills; male host ignored me...perhaps because I was a single female? Serving portions are large so gives a good value. Just dont expect anyone to have good customer service skills and wait on you. I waited 12 times as long for both the check and later for the take out box as I did for my dinner. And for lunch, they werent that busy

Food is very Americanized. If you are not familiar with actual authentic Vietnamese food, then you will like this place. If you are looking for more authentic than this is not the place for you. Lets just say their Pho Dac Biets broth was clear like chicken broth (it should be darker made of beef broth), bland and brought out lemons not lime. The Cha Gio had sooo much carrots in it, it should have had a mixture of ground pork. Overall, I was very disappointed due to all of the reviews.

Excellent beef pho. Some other dishes looked fabulous as well. Ive been here 10 or more times, and have tried their spring rolls (yum!), chicken lettuce wraps (meat was watery), pork fried rice (most oily and wet Ive seen), and kimchi (bland, missing ginger/garlic). More care should be given to the quality of each dish, as a person could have a 5 or 2 star experience, depending on what they order. Service is always good and atmosphere is nice and very clean.

We came in at 8 O clock due to the website saying they were open til 830, but the doors were locked. The waiters stared at us rather than informing us that they had new hours, and a customer had to let us in to tell us that information. When the employees told us, they were incredibly rude. Definitely not coming back, but if you want to go somewhere where your service is welcomed, go to Saigon restaurant just a few stores down.
