This place was horrible. Staff was very short, the wait just to place our order was at least 20 minutes. We ordered a appetizer (chorizo dip-which the kitchen didnt even bother to mix, it was literally queso poured on top of chorizo in a bowl, not a single stir given. ) which didnt arrive until seconds before our food. The food itself was cold to the touch (we both ordered chimichangas).. so we told our server who appeared to care less, but took it back to the kitchen. New food, came out, hot, but judging by the temperature of the plate, they had been stuck under broiler. ...now the actual food... terrible. I couldnt bring myself to eat the grey meat in the chimichangas.. but the rice was alright. Ill never dine here again.

I stopped by here in hopes the food was as good as the El Cerro Grande which use to be in the very same location. Good news: Its exactly the same great Mexican food I remember! :D I got a soda, 2 chicken soft tacos for less than $5.00 Plus they provide complimentary chip and salsa. The atmosphere is nice! big open dining area. If you want entertainment they have TVs. The food is the best. The only problem is that I live in California now so i cant just drop in. But when I fly out to visit family you can be sure this is on my list of stops. guaranteed. What else can I say? I highly recommend Mi Hacienda!

We showed up about 6pm on a Friday night. It was about half full. We got seated quickly, and got our food quickly, however after that the waiter pretty much forgot we existed. We never got refills, and it took about 15 minutes of sitting and trying to get the attention of wait staff to get our check. Im only rating this 4 stars instead of lower because it was busy, and people have bad days. The food was really good though, some of the better mexican weve had around the northland.

The renovation was rushed, tables not sealed well so they feel sticky. Food was bad, it comes from the freezer or a can. The Relleno breading was so thick & rubbery you couldnt hardly cut it. Salsa was watery & very salty. Service was terrible, the girl tried to ignore us & looked put out when we asked for napkins & drink refills. The mixed drinks were the only good thing, but not good enough to get me to come back.

Food was okay but just okay. Chips had a weird texture and salsa was bland. Service was not good. Server initially brought out only half of my meal but nothing for my wife. Caught the waiter and he seemed as if he couldnt care less. About 5 minutes later, the other half of my meal and my wifes meal arrived. Glasses were never refilled and had to wait forever for the check. We wont be back.

Absolutely fantastic! A great selection of authentic Mexican food. If youre expecting the same old "Taco Bell" type food you usually find, youll be disappointed. The ingredients here are fresh, the menu is varied, and the food is delicious! The service is always friendly too. Not to mention, they have the best Margaritas in town!

The only reason I didnt give this restaurant 4 stars is because of service times. The few times Ive been here to dine, it took what felt like an excessive amount of time to get our food. The food is very good though. I do recommend the Carnitas. Make sure to get extra tortillas.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the Greater Kansas City area. They serve something for every kind of Mexican food lover: Tex Mex, traditional and American-Mex. Their version of pollo Michoacano is always satisfying, and true Mex aficionados will know how important that is.

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants. They are usually VERY fast if its not to busy. You can be in and out of there in 30-45 minutes in most occasions. Fresh chips and salsa when you sit down, and serving size is usually generous. The chimmichanga is usually our go to meal.

I have eaten here a couple of times since I live close by. I called in for a take out order only to sit on "hold" for over 10 minutes! I could hear the man that answered the phone doing everything but taking my order! Completely and totally unprofessional!

The food is good but service is very bad! Every time is go in the service gets worse! Its everything from no refills on drinks to on one coming to the table to take orders! It might have something to do with me having my kids with me.

We showed up to try the restaurant and they had locked the doors an hour early, as to not let any customers in before they closed. I think its really unprofessional and speaks of the kind of service you will get when you go.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The staff are friendly and the menu has all the classic Mexican food options. I cant remember ever being disappointed with a visit. My father and brother frequent on taco Tuesdays.

Consistently good food. Wife has gf allergy and the crunchy tacos are her fav. Dont drink so cant speak to that. Would recommend to friends and family. Service is good most visits, sometimes it gets super busy though.

The Rio Grande burrito is insane. I ordered one for carry out and put it on the scale, almost 20 ounces! The margaritas hit hard and fast. Ive been a return customer here, and I wouldnt come back if it wasnt good.

Loved it. Great food and fast service. I had 3 fried tacos which were some of the best Ive ever had. The meat filling was very flavorful. My wife had fajitas that were great as well.
