Look, if I knew how to make great tasting Chinese food, then this might be the best Chinese restaurant in town. This is like a Japanese steak house, where you pick out your food and sauces, then give it to the cooks to make while you watch. The problem is: I dont know how to make it taste as I like. When I get up to the 20 sauces, how in the hell do I know what to mix? I dont. So I put a bunch of sauces and what I get is a lot of good Chinese food that tastes average to bland because Im not a Chinese cook. So what do I do? I go to Yen Ching and buy the Twice Cooked Chicken. Thats the taste I like. If I knew how to make that, Id probably make it myself at HuHot.

This place is a fun Buffet of Asian flavors that you get to combine before they go on the grill. I would recommend the place, but be sure to stay on top of the cooks. They may not cook your food exactly the way you like it, especially if they are busy. I often ask them to cook a little longer. Also, the building is not as clean and well kept up as I would expect. It can feel dirty sometimes. The food generally tastes good, but it isnt of the highest quality. The prices recently went up which makes this place harder to recommend as well. I would say its definitely worth a try if you havent been to a Mongolian style grill before.

Love the way u self serve food but after watching the handling of food I will probably not return or say anything good about u to others. I watched a young gal just replace food items on your line in 5 different containers by just dumping fresh on top of what was there already & even worse ur cooks were picking up dirty spatulas that had been laying in the grease catch (handle and all) and using them to cook food without rinsing or washing them off. Someone will get sick someday! !!!

I did a search for buffet restaurants near me so I could do a quick workingmans filling lunch and this was closest. It is all you can eat but doesnt really have a buffet of cooked food but rather a buffet of pick your uncooked food and then they whip it up into cooked tasty meal right in front of you hibachi style. and I think I would love this if I wasnt in such a hurry to eat but I can honestly say it was the best stir fry I have had in a long time. I will be back

Put raw food in bowl like a buffet. Pour at least 6 oils and flavors. Watch them grill it in front of you. Take bowl back to table and eat. Yum! A simple dish could be pasta with chicken with teriyaki flavor and garlic oil. Boom, easy. Explore other flavors and dont eat it if you dont like it. Buffet style. No boxes for leftovers. Not a good place for one on one time together unless you both go up together and stand at the grill together. Which can be okay then.

This place is a really fun joint. The cooker "ring" is just like being on a Food Network cooking show. Want a good sauce combo? Try 1 ladle of kung pow yow with burn your village down bbq. Midday time can be packed but people love that element of controlling what is being cooked. Also try the Mae Ploy that are on the tables there, tasty.

Ive eaten here several times and always find it a treat. Its nice to pick out exactly what you want and have a healthy lunch, too. Servers have always been excellent. Discount cards are available for repeat customers. Good value, nice folks, good parking, and near the mall for your other shopping needs. Im ready to go back!

Quality of product on the line does not seem to be very high... HuHot is pretty good, yes... Though I was introduced to a similar concept of restaurant called Genghis Grill in Cedar Rapids where the quality of product is significantly of better quality - not frozen chunks of questionable processed foods...

1st of all & for most, way to expensive. I went there w/ my friend we just got 1 bowl of stir fry each, there was no noodles(the ones my friend likes)no eggs or a veg. We ordered crab rangoons they were way over done & 2 drinks for a grand total of $39.79!!!! Enjoy....not!

Dark and loud and in the mall. Our meal for two cost nearly $30. You choose from pre-sliced raw food, slather it with oil and sauce, take it over to a big grill to be cooked while you watch. Noodle lovers like it. Personally I think its over priced, not my first choice.

Smash hit. Every. Time. Its a decent value. All you can eat fresh grilled amazingness for $14? Sign me up. And the lunch special? All you can eat for $9.99? Amazing deal. The food has always been fresh and the staff always friendly. Remember to tip your grill chef!

The food here was some of the worse we have ever encountered. The fried appetizers were way over cooked. The salad was a mess and you couldnt even identify the meat on top. You would do yourself a favor by never going here. The actual stirfry is way over priced.

The all-you-can-eat is a lot of good food for not too bad of a price, and the meat, veggie, sauces and other options are high quality and varied. I love eating here, though the price is mid-high its worth it.

Is ok food .... But have to take one bowl for trip is very annoying, more when meats are always frozen and is hard to fit in a very little bowl.... Food is good ,service good . I think it could be a lot better

Awesome waitress, awesome food! As always when I come to ANY Hu Hots in the tri-state area. Mariah was my waitress she has a bubbly personality and very conscious of whats going on with her customers!

The price is a bit overkill in the afternoons on weekends, but if you get there early on weekdays the price is low, and the food is fantastic. I try to come here with friends once a month, or more.
