I just saw a pic on Facebook about this place. It was a picture of a roach in the food and when the lady went to go get her refund they didnt want to give it to her. They said theyd give her another plate but the lady refused she didnt want their food anymore! And I dont blame her on top of that they were mad and had attitude. It wasnt until the lady threatened them with the department of health they gave her refund back in a nasty way... If you on Facebook just go to search engine on fb and type hammond china palace and youll see for yourself

Good food, not clean. Me and my girlfriend use to eat here all the time till we saw a kid licking the ice cream spoon and picking food off the floor and putting it back in the buffet. Normally I wouldnt dislike the restaurant because of one nasty kid with dumb parents but what annoyed me was the fact that I saw several of the employees watching the kid do this and they didnt do anything until we said something about it. It made me wonder how many times Ive eaten floor food here. I no eat here any more.

Worst experience ever.I wouldnt even give them one star if that was an option.The place wasnt supposed to close till 10:30pm,but as we were eating they said they decided to close at 10pm so we had to rush.They kept looking at us while we ate which was awkward.Before we could all get up to leave she started to remove the plates from the table and clean it.Very rude service.Also she made a smart remark about not getting a tip.

Drinks were nasty and they wouldnt stop looking at me and my wife with our two week old daughter........ the food was cold, the grill was nasty, and they didnt know how to keep their hands to themselves....... never going back again....... p.s. posted this while sitting inside the restaurant

Selection of foods are not labeled, staff speaking in their native language right in front of you and laughing with each other causing a since of discomfort. We felt like they were talking about us and laughing at us. It was very unpleasant. Food was good. Going back.

Great food and value. The crowds are VERY diverse so whether rich or poor, you should be diverse too. It reminds me of the soup kitchen from Seinfeld where no one cared about the riff raft in the lines because they where having withdraws from this place.

The people are sweet, the food is delicious, the prices are amazing, and the atmosphere is unbelievably comfortable! my favorite place to go eat! Not to mention the crawfish they have at night are usually cajun kinda spicy, just the way i like it!

The food is always hot. The spinach with cheese is never dry. The wait staff are clean and friendly. Ive seen people with canes, walkers and wheel chairs with no problems. Its my favorite restaurant in Hammond.
