Food was great as always but there was a lack of customer service and general respect. I ordered the spicy Korean beef noodles, and I was given meatballs. I told him "this is not what I ordered," and clarified to him that I had asked for the spicy Korean beef noodles. He immediately corrected me saying "no, you ordered the meatballs, but Ill get you the noodles." Perhaps he heard me wrong, but he does not need to cop an attitude about it and blame me for his mistake. I was given no receipt (on the bag/after paying) and he didnt repeat the order. If there was any confusion, he could have asked to clarify as I assumed he was knowledgeable and competent but proved himself otherwise. I also noted that there was quite the line building up as I was waiting for my food, and no one seemed to care about it. As someone who has worked in restaurants all his life, this was a red flag and definitely a poor way to handle the situation. Ill be sticking to other locations, the employees at the Iowa City Noodles are far nicer and have respect for their customers.

Placed order online, told that When I got there, it would be ready for pickup right away. Got there and went downhill from there. Register couldnt be manned by the current employee. There was only one register now. Employee that had just gotten done was trying to get food to go, but made several negative comments and took his time with paying. When I finally got to the register, got my bag but not all the silverware needed, food I ordered, or even the size of drink Id ordered. Fine. I have food and left to eat it at home. Get ready to eat Tuscan linguini and it was such a letdown from previous food I got from Noodles. Cookie was old. Soup was tasteless. Have never been so disappointed that I left a negative review, but the whole event was too much to ignore.

We ordered Gluten Free meals, staff confirmed that our food would be Gluten Free and we found out AFTER we ate that it actually was NOT Gluten Free! Turns out that the cheese sauce has Gluten in it... It was nice to be able to eat outside but the food didnt seem like anything special. Update: We were given 1 free meal as compensation for their mistake with 4 (gluten free) meals... I like the food well enough but Im not convinced that the gluten-free food is actually free of gluten. I often feel a little off after eating their Pad Thai (gluten free).

The food was great and the service was quick. I had the Japanese pan noodles with a side of mac and cheese, which was also great! I loved that they gave chopsticks AND little plastic things to put on the end of the chopsticks if you dont know how to use them. The noodles were thick and delicious.

People makes place great. My toddler had a tantrum to eat mac and cheese from Noodles. Unfortunately we were late and the staff was closing. One of the staff member came, open the door and made mac & cheese specially for my toddler. Amazing gesture !!

Tried the app for an on line order but made the mistake of opting to pay in store, which meant still waiting in a ten minute line while my food was getting cold. My food was good...but barely warm as a result.

Showed up at 9:48 pm and they close at 10:00 pm, the doors were already locked and I couldnt get service. The staff would clearly rather close early than do their jobs and provide service to their customers.
