Ive now been here a couple times since it opened and have had the same experience both times. The drive through is unbelievably slow for fast food. After a long wait the first time, I started a timer on my second trip. From pulling up to the speaker to leaving with my food was 12 minutes. This was not during peak hours, was only a single meal, and wasnt anything unusual. This also doesnt include the 5 minutes I waited to pull up to the speaker, and that was with only one car in front of me. To be fair, I havent been inside so I cant comment on those times. The pricing is also a little high for fast food. A 5 piece tender meal (1 side and biscuit) with a large drink was $12.82! You can get cheaper meals at full service restaurants... As far as positives go, the food tasted good (although never came out very hot) and the service was friendly enough. The kitchen also seems clean, although it is brand new, so it should be. Overall, its a better option than the Iowa City KFC, but still isnt an amazing option in the grand scheme of things. With it being a new restaurant, theres still hope that the speed of service and food temperatures can improve.

I went there on 3/1 about 2 pm to get wings. I went through the drive through, the lady was very rude when taking the order, was being a smart ass, and all I ordered was 12 wings and she said the total was 23.43...there is no one in their right mind going to pay that for popeyes wings. I even repeated the price and the lady yells back yes its 23.43 just for wings Needless to say I went to kfc where I got 12 whole wings for just over 10 dollars. That popeyes needs to take a hard look at its incompetent employees and make a change...or I bet money it goes out of business sooner rather than later.

We were there earlier for supper. Not only was there only 1 cashier working the wait was super long...not to mention we ate inside and they screwed our order 2 times. The second time I went up the manager said "would you look over your receipt again while youre up here to make sure you have everything this time because I dont have time for this." I never ate there before I was both shocked and appalled by how rude she was. Acting like it was MY fault I will NOT be back. The price and service are NOT worth it!! Very disappointed how sucky they were.

Ive had good experiences here, only had food messed up once (they gave me a 3-piece of all wings ;_;) but every other time the staffs been awesome, friendly and helpful. The food has always been fresh/hot and tasted pretty decent. Its still fast food though so theres bound to be inconsistencies. They appear a bit short-staffed as of late, so dont expect miracles because honestly either they ring people up or they clean tables, cant do both. They also seem to frequently do a local special on extra biscuits.

Bought a sixteen piece meal with three large sides and either biscuits. The chicken was supposed to be half spicy and half not. Got home and had thirteen pieces of chicken. Six where wings and two not spicy pieces of chicken and the rest spicy. There were no biscuits and the sides were given as individual servings. Three mash potatoes and three mac and cheese and a small tub of Cole slaw. What a let done. Was my first time ever and will probably be my last

Just went back today and I need to change this review. The store has done a complete 180. The food was fresh and great. The biscuits where great my chicken tenders were hot enough they may have just come off the frier and the same for my gfs two piece chicken meal. The service was fast and great. I ordered and we got it in about 2 minutes. If youve been here and got turned off i would highly siggest going back.

We had to go ask for our order. They forgot to make it. All the casier said was "my bad". Then it was wrong. Went back up to tell them. Was supposed to get chicken she gave me fish. Then said she something rude as I was walking away. Got back to the table it was still wrong. My husband had to go up for a third time. They finally got it correct. I will never be back. Rude and incompetent. 1230 pm 7/10/16

The restaurant just opened a few weeks ago so hopefully things will improve. The beans and rice are being cooked too long till mushy. First visit order was totally wrong when I got it home plus terrible wait in drive thru. Went all the way back and they didnt offer me anything complimentary for the inconvenience. Second time sandwich was cold. I always give it three tries so well see.

Shrimp was good, chicken was bland ! This location is new so dont expect advertised specials. Save money go online first and check out specials! The wait was so long, I happened to come across a $5 shrimp special, online when I finally made it to the drive thru I ordered my $5 shrimp that was no where on the menu!!. A meal will run you about $9 expensive! The fries are always soggy!

Now this is good chicken! Get the shrimp po boy! There is a free red beans and rice day coming up soon! EXTREMELY LONG LINES because they just opened. Drive through was backed up all all the way OUT of the parking lot into the road about a week ago. I delayed going due to it. Great food and the people working there are friendly even with that much stress put on them.

Absolutely awful service. Pulled into the drive thru at 9:15pm. I was the 2nd car waiting to place an order. There was 3 cars that had already placed an order and pulled around for the window. I placed my order around 9:25pm I ended up waiting until 9:50pm and I was still the 2nd car in line waiting to pay. I left without any food since I had to be at work by 10.

Not worth the time or money. Service sucked. Screwed up my order. The food had zero flavor. Employees are loud and rude. Lots of cursing in the backround. Trash was allover the tables and floor. Will never waste my money here again. An employee on break pushed me out of her way to get a drink from the fountain. Go to kfc.

Mash potatoes were the best I ever had. My wife thought the Mac and cheese was fantastic. Staff was outstanding as always. The older gentleman ( my age) had a great personality and funny with great service. Now the only problem was the chicken. It was dry. Overall a three rating. If chicken was good it would be a 5.

the food is amazing but the service is absolutely horrible, the employees are taking their time to serve customers and dont seem to care that you have been waiting for 30 mins for 3 chicken tenders and some sides. So honestly love the food but management needs to figure out how to speed service up or I wont be back

The food was mediocre at best (very salty). Dined inside the restaurant due to the extremely long drive thru line and experienced some of the worst service Ive ever received. One young employee on his break was even loudly yelling and using expletives in the restaurant which was full of paying customers.
