Weve been going there regularly, since they opened. Its definitely one of our favorite Chinese buffets. They have an attractive decor, and keep everything clean. The food is as good as any buffet weve eaten, and they have competitive, if not the best prices. The staff is friendly, without being annoying. After reading all of the comments to date, Id like to address several of the complaints below. - - Specifically, the temperature, taste, and freshness of the food. Yes, there are times when the temperature is not as hot as I like. But Ive experienced this at nearly every buffet. If they keep the food too hot for too long, it will soon dry out. The best thing to avoid this, is go during peak times, when there is high turnover on the food. Another trick I use (usually with the fried, battered shrimp), is to sample one piece to guage freshness. If its not hot and fresh, come back to it later, when they change out the pan, and eat something else you like first. As far as the taste, that may depend on your preference. I love the hot and sour soup they serve, and have not at all found it to taste like soap. Overall, I find the taste of their food to be my favorite. Weve tried nearly every buffet in town, and its often a let-down to eat at other restaurants, since weve been to China Buffet. I havent tried the raw shrimp, so cant address that specific complaint with authority, but overall the taste is the best to myself and family. One way I think they could improve, is with the consistency of their music selection and volume. Some days you come in and theyre playing pleasant, contemporary Chinese music, or soft, classical music, at a pleasant volume. Other days weve come in, and theyve had somewhat loud, rock music, which totally blows the ambience for me. If you have difficulty carrying on a conversation, because the music is too loud to hear the person next to you, then they need to turn it down. Also, I dont go to a Chinese restaurant to get an American ambience. I want to hear Chinese music. It would be nice if they softly played the old, traditional Chinese music you used to hear in Chinese restaurants. The least they could do is keep it soft Asian, and at a low volume. I suspect some of this has to do with staff changing things to their preference, but have also experienced similar things at many other restaurants. All in all, this is one of our favorite, if not the favorite Chinese buffet in town, and weve tried most of them.

I cant warn anyone strongly enough how bad the food is at this restaurant. I am not difficult to please but do require the food at least be edible. I was not able to finish one prepared item. The sugar rolls are supposed to be soft and light, like a sugar doughnut. Instead they were hard as rocks, as was the garlic bread. The fried shrimp was room temperature and had an off flavor. I had three chicken dishes, the orange chicken, the sesame chicken, and general Tsos chicken. Again, they were all cold and the chicken in all three tasted old and stale. The peel and eat shrimp had a slim that was disgusting. I also tried the broccoli beef. Same story. It was cold and the broccoli was so mushy you couldnt pick it up with a fork. The only items that tasted as it should was the watermelon and the ice cream that was individually packaged. Try this restaurant if you like, but you have been warned.

Wish I could give zero stars. This was by far some of the worst food Ive ever eaten. I liked the sesame chicken but its kinda hard to mess that up. We went for the endless crabs, but that was a joke. The crabs were cold, had hardly any meat in them and the most insulting part about it was that instead of being served with sweet savory clarified butter they served it with artificial popcorn butter. Yes they served the crabs with the stuff you put on top your movie theater popcorn. The crabs didnt taste good enough without being dipped with some kind of sauce or butter. Just ruined the entire experience for me. It is painful obvious they dont care about the food they are serving and frankly at times I was afraid to eat it, because if they care so little about their food probably means they dont care how its kept or prepared. $50 down the drain.

Horrible Im still sitting in this place the food is cold or room temperature the workers staff are rude unless youre coming in paying but after that act like they dont speak English when Ive asked about dishes that are sitting there obviously collecting air and loosing flavor they were rude when answering about food thats like the last of the dish that nobody wants the last of it but they will leave hard lost of flavor blank food sitting until someone eats it whether its cold or not no stars I only heard on Sundays they have crab legs and seafood other than that Id never spend 1 red cent here c for yourself

Great selection of food. Clean. Atmosphere is pleasant. I highly recommend it. Waitress was attentive without being obnoxious. Price includes drink and dessert. If you do not see something on the buffet that you want, they offer to fix it for you at no extra charge. Music was relaxing and not too loud. Buffet includes many American staples (fries, pizza, Jell-o). They have a chocolate fountain but few things to dip into it. Ive cream is served in prepackaged cups along with bomb pops and drumsticks.

Think again if you want fresh food. They are way over priced for what they offer The only thing I ate was the noodles since that was the one good thing on the buffet table and that is saying something because I love Chinese food and not that picky. For the 45 minutes being their they did not come out with any fresh food and the waiters didnt bother refilling my water. I would not even give it a 1 star.

Me and my fiancéwent there today for the 1s and the food was horrible?!? The only good thing there honestly was the chicken nuggets and the cupcakes. Every thing was was old and stale. Me and My fiancé usually go to Bamboo on Merle hay. But we wanted to try something different. Never again will I come back. Got a refill and they filled it half away. It seems like they want you rush you in and out
