Absolutely delicious food. Everything Ive tried from this menu (every item from the non-vegetarian side of the menu and several of the vegetarian options) has been amazing. Its hard to even pick a favorite. I personally love the gyro and the beirut. A lot of my friends favorite item is the garlic spaghetti. If you want a really cheap delicious meal though, order the chicken straps from the appetizer menu. They come with fries and the garlic aioli. The menu is pretty small, but theres something for everyone, including sandwiches, pasta, burgers, chicken and more. They also serve brunch and drinks. The college students love the Long Islands. Theyre about the size of 3 regular drinks, made with good ingredients, not a mix, and pretty inexpensive. They have a full drink menu, though, including wine local beers. The place is very small and could use some repairs, but us very "Ames" in that way.

Found out that this place is what everyone calls "Cafe B". Once again we come across another restaurant with an unpronounceable name... This must be the hip new thing. To have a restaurant that no one knows how to pronounce... Imagine a world filled with restaurant names no one knows how to pronounce... we would never know what eatery anyone is talking about. Total chaos would ensue, soon leading to the destruction of humanity.

Cafe Beaudelaire is a great spot in campus town! They do a great job serving authentic Brazilian food and drinks. The Feijoada is an awesome dish, as well as their black bean soup if youre vegetarian. I have always found the staff to be very friendly, the restaurant to be clean, and the food great. Highly recommend checking this place out if youve lived in ames for many years or if youre just visiting.

Bad food, bad sercive and it was expensive. I would think being located in campus town the prices would be more reasonable. I ended up paying $70 (including a tip, for what I dont know). I paid almost $8 for tea...refills are not free (they dont tell you that ahead of time either). I should have gone with the regular outting when in Ames and gone to Hickory Park.

Definitely the best restaurant in Ames. The atmosphere in the restaurant is so cozy and friendly, and of course that is a plus, but THE FOOD is the best part about Cafe B. My favorite is the gyro. Their Belgian fries that come with most of the meals blow my mind every time I eat them. They are hands down the best fries you will ever eat. Awesome date spot too!

Best foods, best drinks, best bartending, best waitressing, best kitchen staff, best management in town. I think they should be voted the best in all campustown. I wish it was little bit bigger but overall the place is to GO no matter if you have family or by your self. And their GYROS, always the well cooked everytime. !

Cafe B is located in a nice place right on Lincoln Way, where you can watch foot traffic passing the window. They have a good beer selection for a small bar, and make good mixed drinks. The few times Ive eaten there, the food has been very good. I also appreciate that they play soccer matches.

Food here is pretty good. Drinks are a touch expensive, but the long islands are good. Has a slightly older clientele than a lot of other campus town bars, but it can still get pretty packed at night. I recommend it for meals as opposed to going here as a bar.

This is a really quality and unique restaurant. It has all kinds of great Brazilian dishes that are really great. They also have very interesting cocktails. I would reccomend the Brazilian Necktie. Its weirdly spicy but refreshing. Definitely worth a try.

Great food and drink selection, sometimes its way too crowded at night and they turn the music up crazy loud. Sometimes interesting live music. Lots of soccer fans here. Try the chicken cheese balls, a unique treat.

This is my favorite place in Ames, although the service is a bit hit or miss, usually very great food and atmosphere. The crowd is a mix of college kids and slightly older locals. Great overall experience.

A great place to be a regular. The atmosphere is cosy, the food is fantastic and unique, the craft beer is local and changes frequently, and the mixed drinks will hit you good. A jewel in Campustown.

LOVE THIS PLACE! The bar tender Nick is the man, he can mix a drink better than most the bartenders I see in the Twin Cities. Interesting and tasty options for food too. Ive never left unsatisfied.

Cafe B, as the locals call it, has great gyros. Never been disappointed. It is usually packed with college students and somewhat load. The long islands are good. Another great Ames bar and eatery.

Very good food is served here. Restaurant is small and can take some time to get food but it is worth it. Service is good and atmosphere is better. I also hear they make some mean long islands.

Yucca fries! Feijoada! Brazilian burger! I would eat there every day if I didnt have the cheap alternative of cooking at home :p Did you know? Theyre the same owners of Macubana.

Excellent food. Easily the best food in campustown, and they seem to know it for the price they charge you. If you dont mind the price, then the taste cannot be beat!

Incredibly flavorful food and an attentive, knowledgeable, courteous staff. Small cafe, almost quaint. Prices are mostly reasonable, if a little high sometimes.
