I was so disappointed because I had heard so many fantastic reviews but we had terrible service and the food was not worth the price. We had a problem with the steak preparation and were belittled by the service who tried to explain that it wasnt the steak it was our palate. The steak was sent back but then did not arrive for 30 mins while myself and our friend were waiting with our entrees. We had to have it boxed to go and our friend didnt get to eat! The bartender was very nice and cocktails were tasty. We will not be returning.

Food was ok, burgers were oversized and hard to eat but delicious. Kids had mac cheese but didnt like it due to the cheese? My kids eat anything so it was $10 for a plate of overcooked carrotts. The waiter added to the fun, he was rude forgot things we asked for and we were stuck right up front. While a good date night type of place. Expect to spend near $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids to eat burgers and noodles.

Our family made our first trip to Cafe Maude. Attentive service, pleasant ambiance. The portions are more European, but nice and fine attention to detail. The prix fixe menu is a good option. The only thing we did not like was the baked escargot. The pork, the salmon, the soup, the salad were excellent! The desserts were fine as well. A nice experience!

Wonderful place just north of the Crosstown hwy. Menu provides a range from small plates and sandwiches to full entrees. Unique cocktail menu as well. They share a parking lot with the business in the same building, so parking can be somewhat easier than other places on Penn, but still can be tough as the lot is relatively small.

This Place is Excellent. Eggs Benny are the best Ive ever had, *not hyperbole*. Id also recommend the eggs and spinach dish, whatever its called. For brunch. Like an Indian/American breakfast fusion. Excellent, and it works so much better than it sounds. Highly recommended.

Went there for breakfast and it was quite delightful. The menu sounded quite interesting and the flavor of the food didnt let us down! We shared - which allowed us to try different dishes - and all of them were very good! Ambiance is also good. Would certainly go back!

This was by far the best restaurant that we ate at in Minneapolis, worth the 20 minute drive from downtown. The Chef is very accommodating to food allergies if you have them. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive as well.

This restaurant has great food at a very reasonable cost, great atmosphere and its good place to hang out and listen to music in the evenings. Also, the only restaurant in south minneapolis with a full liquor license!!

Growing up in the Armatage neighborhood, having restaurants in the area was always a rarity. Having Cafe Maude open was a blessing because now we have restaurant to visit. Arguably the best burger in Minneapolis

My husband and I love to dine at Cafe Maude. Great menu, relaxed-urban environment and awesome service. We love the wine list (were from California) and eating outside with our dog during the warmer months.

A great local spot with good food and great cocktails. The Mac and cheese is fantastic and Ive yet to have a bad plate. Lastly, the place is friendly. They always make their customers feel at home.

Should be called Cafe Rude. Worst manager ever. Slow, obnoxious service. Often the music is what should be playing in a funeral parlor. Food is ok, but not worth the hassle of the rest.
