I have to say that hands down this place has the best BBQ I have EVER tasted! The ribs are always so tender and delicious. The BBQ sauce is his signature sauce made up each day. I have never like potato salad until his. It’s his mom’s recipe but made by his daughter every day. Shawn is very friendly and always makes you feel like family. Prices are great and the food is always worth whatever you pay. Every bite is a little piece of heaven :D He never disappoints.

Easily the best bbq in the area. Amazing prices, especially for the quantity of food you are given. The bbq is mouth watering, and every single side dish is perfectly made! Ill go here before any other bbq place in southern Indiana or Louisville. I also have had him cater for parties, and even with large quantities, the food quality was top notch! His potato salad should be considered an illegal substance because its so addictingly good!

Shawns BBQ was awesome! Yeah, I said "awesome", not "awful!" (Ha! inside joke with Shawn who made us feel like wed been eating there for years) BBQ was some of the best Ive had anywhere! I got the brisket & green beans. Brisket was moist, not wet and full of flavor with the perfect amount of seasoning. Green beans were great! I will definitely be eating there again, both for dine-in and carry-out!

They automatically add sauce to your pulled chicken. Never encountered that before and, when youre trying to lose weight, its not a good thing. Owner, who was out of greens at 4 p.m., told me "lots of people love it that way" and "you could of asked us not to add it." Ummm ... OK. I told him I like ketchup on my fries but prefer to add it myself. Bottom line: I wasted $20.

Stopped in here on my way home while riding. It started to rain and it was the closest place. So glad I stopped. It was great. Employees were friendly, prices were very reasonable, and the food was outstanding. Watched a lot of people come through while I sat there. Obviously a popular joint and great for carry out. Cant recommend enough and will be back.

A true hole in the wall but that is a good thing when reviewing a BBQ joint. Shawn is a super nice guy & youll probably see him out front tending to one of his smokers. Dont be shocked if you order something & its not available, Shawn wont serve any meat until he feels like its ready. A good sauce & ask for the spicy version youre into that!

This is one of the best BBQ places around ! I cant get enough of the pulled pork dinner ! The sides are all very flavorful and my favorites are the green beans and the SLAW. All the employees are friendly and service is fast and prices arent too bad compared to other BBQ places. A must try if youre in the area.

We ordered a lb of brisket, large potato salad and baked beans, and it was great! No fat on the brisket, which I loved because I hate fat. The potato salad might be the best I ever had and the baked beans were sweet and didnt have any meat in them, which I liked. We will definitely be back!

Shawns is so good, I want to go there weekly. Too bad that my schedule wont allow that. Small and welcoming, and always out of Collard Greens. If you want them, you gotta get there early. The green beans are just as good, though. Why isnt this a franchise?

This was very good, only this that was disappointing.... they we sold out of sides and not much meat left at 7pm. They were very busy and it shows by the amount of people in and out. We were traveling and this was worth getting off the highway for!
